Paldea Catchall (More prompts to be added, OTA)

Who: Ryou Bakura and you!

Where: Paldea!

When: Early April

Summary: Ryou arrives in Paldea, gets his bearings.

Log:

1. On the Plane

[Ryou had been excited for the trip to Paldea (and who wouldn't be excited for a surprise free vacation?), but first is the long flight there with not much to do. He had initially attempted to get a glimpse outside through the window, curious about what this world looks like from this height, but that quickly lost appeal once the plane got out over the ocean and to cruising height.

Now he's a bit bored, resorting to rereading his Dungeons and Dragonites manual just for something to do besides nap.

After all, what else is he going to do, bug his neighbours? Unless someone talks to him first-]

2. Mesagoza

[Now that he's finally made it to Mesagoza, Ryou is more than eager to stretch his legs out and explore the city, Banshee the Hisuian Zoroark at his side as he looks around. Catch him wandering the city, perhaps with a churro in hand as he gets his bearings and sightsees.

Or maybe Ryou catches you, rushing to greet someone else taking part in the trip and see how they're doing so far. It seems he for one is doing fine, if a bit uncomfortable with the humidity!]

(The humidity doesn’t seem to be a big problem for Isabela as soon as she gets off the plane upon everyone arriving at Paldea. In fact she is just too excited to explore the region very much.

Honestly she is pretty much looking forward to visiting it ever since she saw Riegfried and Soy’s video announcement. Perhaps the region’s culture might have some similarities with Colombia’s own culture that kindled her curiosity.

At this time, Isabela is currently walking around Mazagoza with Carmen the Roselia, Antonio the Ponyta, Camilo the Maractus and Mira the Tinkatink, getting herself familiarize with the city and enjoy some churros and a iced tea.)

[Will Ryou bug his neighbours? No. Will a neighbour bother Ryou? Absolutely. Well, not Jotaro, who is a few seats ahead of Ryou, but his Eevee, Jota. The small Eevee has decided to defy Jotaro and not sit next to the man as he reads his journal articles. Instead he's wandering around.

Jota the Eevee looks up at Ryou and chirps loudly at him from the floor. Then, he points at the cover of his book. He knows that Pokemon! Woah! Let him see! Let him see!]

[The Eevee chirps happily again as Ryou seems to pick up what he wants. He stares at it intently, looking like he would be reading it if he knew how to read. Then, Jota smiles and pats the Dragonite several times with his paw. He knows that Pokemon! They're super friendly!!!! And one of his stinky trainer's other Pokemon will evolve into a Dragonite one day too!

Jota then grabs the book in his mouth and tries to take it off Ryou. Oh no!]

[The little thief grins as he emerges out into the aisles, book in mouth, and looks around. There's nowhere for him to go with the book so Jota quickly bolts back towards Jotaro.

Jotaro had heard Ryou cry out but dismissed it, since it didn't seem like there was a problem with the plane. He does look up though when Jota returns, and promptly dumps the book in his lap.]

... You never give me presents. What's your game?

[He stares at the Eevee who merely grins back. Trainer! Defend the book he rightfully took!]

[Hopefully Ryou won't mind Armin leaning over from across the aisle. You see, his eye fell on something interesting, and he just has to ask--]

Is that a Dungeons and Dragonites guide book?

I played a little of it a few years ago. Unfortunately the people I was playing with aren't here anymore.

I'm not sure how much I still remember of all the rules though. We didn't really get to play that much.

[Common DnD problems.]
