[Radley nods, not mentioning that Luisa could just get pulled in against her will.]

That's definitely stressful. I feel like that a lot back home, looking after all my friends. They think of me as their big brother.

[Ryner does not trust Silph Co. He certainly hasn't trusted them since they announced their Type: Null project, but honestly his distrust of the local scientists in general goes back even further, to the Shedinja incident and the black Pokeballs. Cara Liss's involvement doesn't exactly inspire any confidence either, after what happened in Hisui.

So it's not exactly a surprise when everything goes wrong with their latest little project. A pain, certainly, but not a surprise.

It is, however, mildly surprising when, while trying to help organize the menagerie to defend the house against a duo of metal moths that look oddly like Volcaronas, Ryner and Rose accidentally fall into a wormhole. And on the other side of that wormhole is a small dango shop that is very familiar to Ryner.

...Well, except that all of the local flora is now tropical - palm trees and the like - rather than the usual deciduous forest, but. Details. The signage makes it very clear, to anyone who can read the common of Menoris anyway.]

Wynnit Dango?

[Ryner's surprise, however, pales before Rose's glee as she peeks out from atop his shoulder. She's heard tales of this place, where the ultimate dango exists.]

Oh absolutely. Being very highly concerned for one’s friends or family is a big worry in the minds of so many people.

My parents tend to be very concerned for me, Luisa and Mira quite often even while we were growing up too: they do want to make sure that we’re all safe and that nothing was going to be a danger to out own well-being.

(Thankfully Harry had originally planned to stay at Ecruteak City for a few days prior to the wormhole incidents, knowing that it will be a short trip compared to having to go all the way to Mahogony City where he hopes to encounter Pryce in his gym battle someday.

So he does have a bag packed for the short trip already with him when the wormhole to bizarro Hogwarts showed up.)

Oh yes. Let’s get there before another wormhole tries to get us and take us to another alternate world. I really don’t need another crazy trip to another weird version of Hogwarts or England after the first trip.

[He smiles a bit.]

It must be nice to live in an environment like that. That's the way family should be.

Let's just hope there won't be any others indoors. That one showed up for us in the living room.

[He rather doubts any place is completely safe.]

Right. Who should I be calling for? [Because honestly, they'll be looking for anyone who's alive.]

Should we check your home first? Maybe they would have left something for you to find?

... Jotaro. Jotaro Kujo. I'm just a guy... A breeder in the Pokemon World, I suppose, if you had to put a label to me.

Whoa, they spawn indoors as well?!? The one came for me and my team earlier was in front of the Olivine compound I’m living in. I guess that we’ll need to keep a close eye for any of them that could appear at any moment then.

Furret, Furret.

Yeah exactly. I do think that having a good support system is very vital to anyone’s mental well-being.

(Félix is able to see that the wormhole is still there at the bridge and he begins to get Isabela’s attention by squeaking that they need to get there fast quickly.)

Come on! We have to get back to the normal world and try to find Luisa to see if she is going to be alright or if she is safe from the wormholes.

[Oh.]

[There's a lot to unpack there, about this whole world-hopping thing. Loop decides they are going to deal with processing that later.]

...should you be leading the way, then? [Honestly, it feels kind of jarring to think about not being in front, and it's not exactly complicated to follow the water, but...]

[True to Cecil's word, the bridges are sturdier than they look. Loop has to pause for a moment when Alfinse abruptly scrambles up their leg again - he's seen Rosie prepping for battle and wants nothing to do with it.]

[Loop glances back to see what's spooked the otter, registers Rosie, and ticks their level of alert up a few notches. Maybe they should test if they can use Craft here - but they'll wait until they've crossed this next bridge, let's not risk chopping through a beam.]

We'll need to wade through the water and look for barely-visible passageways in the rock.

[A beat.]

I think I remember where most are, at least.

... Oh, that sounds really fun.

[Heavy sarcasm. Then he pauses, thinks.]

And are monsters gonna attack us in the water?

Yeah, we sure will, unfortunately. But maybe hopefully they'll leave us alone now.

[Is there much hope of that? He's not sure.

He starts leading Harry towards the house. Evie skips along singing happily in Eevee talk.]

Oh, definitely.

[It's amazing he turned out as well as he did when he didn't really have that from his family.

He perks up at the news the portal is still there.]

Great! Let's go for it.

[Evie cheers.]

(Everyone run (or fly in Félix’s case) as fast as they can to the wormhole on the bridge to get back to the normal world. All Isabela can think of now is hoping that her younger sister will be okay and not so close to a wormhole to who knows where.

Once they get close to the wormhole in question, they all hopped into it and eventually finds themselves landing on the ground. Isabela looks around to see where they have landed on, praying that they didn’t arrived in another weird world right now.

Thankfully as soon as she sees a lighthouse nearby, she is relieved to see that they’re safely in Olivine City. The question remains: Has Luisa been far away from those trips to alternate encantos yet?)

Phew, made it back to Olivine. Never thought that I would be so glad to see this city again. So far things haven’t turned upside down just yet but we might need to look for Luisa here and ask her if she has avoided those wormholes so far.

(As much as Harry hates having one eye open for anything crazy that could possibly happen while he follows after Radley back to his place with Tonks, Dobby and Hedwig tailing along, this is sadly what he has to deal with in his world.

When one has to deal with unpleasant relatives, unwanted fame, rude teachers, mean classmates, corrupt government officials and devious dark wizards wanting him dead, it is never easy to live a life so normal for just once in one’s life.

The young man sighs, hoping that after being stranded in the weird Hogwarts he can finally take a break and rest from all the ongoing madness Cara and her recent invention mishap have brought in.)

[Radley looks around in relief. It's so good to be back to the regular Pokemon world.]

Yeah, let's do that. Maybe she's at the house?

[Evie cheers. Let's look for friends!

[Radley sure hopes likewise. They need a pleasant rest of the day. He hates to think what might happen if they get pulled into an alternate of his world.

Finally they come to the familiar property.]

Here we are!

[He unlocks the front door and many Pokemon rush to greet them. There are many Eevee calls and some meows and a few other sounds.]

Hey, guys. We're finally back. Harry and his Pokemon will be here for a bit. Okay?

[More happy calls.]

Let's see, now...

[Sending what may look like a burning armored man with swords for arms is, as far as Cecil is concerned, a terrible idea. But...]

It might be less efficient than searching from the air, but Rosie could safely look for clues in locations that would be difficult to see from above, such as below trees. And since she knows Spotlight, she'll be able to send a signal, should she find anything.

I want to tell her to stop but I know better than to stop a researcher in their element. Some scientists are just like that.

[Jotaro's just getting used to the nonsense of the Pokemon world, he doesn't need even more nonsense.]

Not being quick enough to stop a disaster happening... Yeah. It's not a good feeling. I don't blame you for that... [Jotaro sighs and shakes his head. Not for the first time does he wish he had a drink or a smoke.]

... So what now?

[Huh! So it is. That's neat. Jotaro figures it's better than his lock-picking method of kick the door down (literally). Jotaro leans against the wall and looks out, standing guard so Cecil can work.

Jotaro knows vaguely about the Hisuian incident but he loses his train of thought quickly. He snorts.]

Sounds to me like mothers-in-law are the one constant in the multiverse. I tried to avoid my ex-wife's mother when I could.

[But, focus Jotaro.]

... Makes sense. Tell me when brute forcing the door is on the table. Else we need to get used to dealing with egg-heads.

Right now, I’m hoping to find a wormhole that should take us and our teams back to the world of Pokémon. As much as this world proves to be, erm, very interesting, I just want to go back to a more normal setting and avoid more wormhole trips for the foreseeable future.

(Hedwig soon comes back from her wormhole and relay the information through her hoots. She reveals that she has found one that should be near this strange world’s version of the Fat Lady portrait that leads normally to the Gryffindor Common Room.

But she goes on to say that they need to get there fast before it closes and they would have to find another wormhole out of here.)

Huh, what’s that? You saw a wormhole forming not far from the Fat Lady’s Portrait? Well, it looks like my Noctowl is able to locate a wormhole not far away from a portrait I’m familiar with in my world. We should get there quickly before it could close on us and we’ll need to find another wormhole back home.

Hey guys. Glad to see to all of yoy again. We’re going to be staying here for the time being, so I hope that you wouldn’t mind having some company over today.

Furret, Furret!

(It is such a relief to see these happy Eevees and cat like Pokémon after that wild adventure in another Hogwarts. The world alone was in some form way different from what he is used to in his world’s Hogwarts and he is so glad to move on from this unexpected detour trip to what should have been a quiet short trip to Ecruteak. Harry could now rest easy and he bracing himself for an incoming Eevee snuggle.

Hedwig hoots in beaming joy and Tonks happily honks from her pipes, eager to say hello to Radley’s other Pokémon.)

Yeah, that would be a great starting point. I think that I last saw her in there while I was about to head out to get groceries when that wormhole dragged me and my team away from here. Luckily I still have the keys to the house with me so we should be able to get inside.

She is probably at the living area at this time. Let’s get there before another wormhole shows up and drags us to some other weird world all the sudden.

(She has no idea that Luisa may not be around in the world any longer some time after this very event. But right now she’s going out of her way to head back to the rental house she and Luisa (plus Mirabel) have been living for some time.)

Wow. That is terrific! Sending out signals from various hard to reach places while tracking for clues in them is a really amazing idea. That should help Félix’s ears to find potential wormholes very easily.

Noi! Noibat, Bat!

(Félix thinks that it is a great plan too. His ears are very highly specialized to locate various sounds from all sorts of places and locations like any bat would do.

He will be very vigilant in finding any signals Rosie would make whenever she finds anything important to the wormhole search with the help of his highly sensitive hearing.)

Hey, even Félix thinks that it is a great idea as well.
