Watching from above Red, Cali saw the phantom forest too. There was a term she remembered one of her professors had used during a seminar on how he had to join a recovery team out of the colony boundary. How hard it was to navigate back as the exoplanet surface was prime conditions for a form of mirage that made it appear as though there were two colonies, 'Fata Morgana'. That's what the little phantom forest made Cali think of as she landed with Min-Gi.

"Goodness, the phantom forest certainly is a lot darker than anticipated.." Cali said softly as she looked over the illusion woodland edges before turning her attention to Rodeo, "Hi there Rodeo, it's very nice to meet you."

"Should we do a call out once we're in to see if we can get a response from the trainer?" Cali asked as she debated a bit if that'd be beneficial or would attract whatever made the phantom woods.
