Walter thought for a moment. Then dropped Assumption's pokeball, recalling Chaos. Perhaps it would ease Dorian to see one of them.

Assumption appeared in a small flash of light, blinking up at the two men with round, dark eyes. He waved to Dorian but beamed at Walter, greeting him with a cry and holding up his arms. Lift him please! Walter obliged, kneeling down and picking him up, so he could show Dorian the Cubone more clearly. Assumption didn't mind at all, quite happy to be held and to check out Dorian in return.
