Color me curious.

[Cecil, for once, is not wearing any cosmetics today. In fact, beyond a black t-shirt and presumably pants, he's completely unadorned. His hairstyle has not been so simple in years. It feels strange to show himself thus, but today it's important.]

What would you guess my age to be? Just from looking, without taking anything else into account.

There used to be many who'd reached the hundreds, but they did not look it. Nor were they common mortals, for that matter.

Are you a mortal? You do have unusually colored hair. My friend's hair is green and he's like a million years old.

I am, yes, but as a crossbreed between a human and a much longer-lived race, I'm not sure how my aging is affected. Is green hair truly so unusual in your world, to be a sign of immortality?

Well, I mean, people dye their hair all the time. But they're never born with anything beyond, you know, black and brown and blonde and red.

My one world has more natural variety, green included. Pink is usually a clear sign of hair dye, however. I wonder what exactly is the cause of such a difference?

Huh...maybe nature isn't quite as creative in my world. Are there people with blue hair?

It's not the most common of colors, but it does exist. Some of those Troian dancers might be dying it, but it also occurs naturally.

To think I could have been in another world with blue hair.
