First Paper Crane [Video/Action]
[Hanna's had a pretty interesting day so far. He met a woman who said she was his mom, which as far as he's concerned, is really fucked up. He got the most precious pokemon friend ever, talked to a professor, and is now wandering route 29. It's in his wandering though, trying to fluff over the fact that he's here, he isn't being held up by gun point, and is instead living a childhood dream, that he realizes something.
Before he'd been so overwhelmed by everything that it hadn't registered, but now? He was just walking, everything was calm, and-] Oh my god this music is everywhere.
[He's talking to the screen because he's not going to complain to his Noibat who probably has way better hearing and thus suffering more than him by far.] What do they have around here? Speakers in the trees? I don't understand where it's coming from, but as far as music goes, it kind of sucks. Like I always imagined having my own life soundtrack, but i've endured only like, what? Three hours of this and it's already stuck in my head. Please tell me it changes every once in a while. Please.
Cause this is like some kind of torture.
Action
After the realization that no, this music doesn't stop, and complaining to everyone about it, Hanna has decided to take a break and open up that lunch his...mom packed. It's nice, obviously made with love and he's just going to stare at it for a little bit, taking it in before grabbing his fork and taking a bite.
He can't say he isn't disappointed when it doesn't taste like what his mom used to make, but there's that same quality of 'i made this for my son' that kind of gets him to chew slower, appreciate it more, and after each bite he kind of sighs and takes a deep breath. For all that he had been pushing aside, trying to keep up the hype of just being here? Well. "Mom's" lunch seems to take the cake over being moments away from being shot any day.
Amelia, who had been flying around looking for food of her own to eat, smart little thing that she was, flutters to a stop on a branch, big ears twitching and turns back towards her over enthusiastic trainer. Something's wrong, obviously, and she'll flutter back, landing right next to his lunch on his knee, squeaking up at him.
"Huh? Naw, it's all good, Amelia," He says, wiping his nose with is sleeve and pushing at his eyes with the heel of his palm, "just got something in my eye."

[Last Josuke heard he was going by some symbol, but the point stands.
'chiptunes' sounds like a cool term for this though he's just gonna remember that for later.]
[He's not a huge fan of Prince, but he can totally sympathize.]
I mean, this stuff is fun, especially if you're not sober, but it gets old quick.
[That's what happens when you live in Japan and also it's 1999.]
Drinkin' it off could be a good idea? And you just reminded me I don't have to worry about being underage, even.
[That stuff probably tastes better when you get it in a way that you can... actually taste it, right? It's got to.]
Freddie is a god, okay? Nothing can convince me otherwise, but Ludo is another band that...I swear Andrew Volpe channels some kind of amazing otherworldly spirits to make his music. He's a pretty chill dude too, like...man. If I could share some of their stuff with you I totally would. I could sing it but I'd probably just butcher it.
[Just trust him, Ludo is amazing.] Can you even find alcohol in a place like this? It seems...geared towards kids.
[Getting ahead of yourself is just the worst, isn't it?]
Still, maybe it's just they're too new for me to have heard of 'em? Usually takes a while for American stuff to make it to Japan.
Anyways, Alcohol isn't even that great, I mean, if I had my magic still I could whip you up something that could really knock you off your feet. No hangover, no potential health issues, just straight up magic. I sometimes pay this guy I know with them when he does me favors, and man. He likes some more...kick your ass kinds of affects that I'm just not into, but let me tell you, runes can make you trip harder than acid if you get 'em just right.
[Hanna stop talking to kids about your magical drugs.]
['90s not that that comes across since it still sounds like "cool"]
[He rolls up his sleeve, showing the little runes on his upper arm that coming here couldn't take away. He had more on his chest that were meaningless now, but he didn't mind, they looked kind of cool and his chest wasn't straight out of a horror film so that was okay by him.] It's a runic magic, though it obviously doesn't work here.
You use the symbols and shit to create affects, and they simulated the effect of drugs. Of course, that isn't what I mainly used it for, but it was kind of cool. Also completely untraceable which was the really good part. And free. Free is always better.
[In another universe, someone might say that one's Stand is like their asshole in that you can't just go showing it off to everyone. Josuke will never meet that person.
On the other hand, he's met at least one person for whom like 99% of humanity has superpowers, so maybe everyone just uses magic.]
Re: [video]
[It's not as if he doesn't understand that line of thought.]
But hey, not like I haven't 'magic' punched anyone in the face before.
[He is a little curious though...magic punching sounds cool.] You got some yourself? Or you did anyways, before?
[The invisible part only applying to... normal people.]
Aww...I want to see. This sucks.
The "invisible" part was because people that don't have Stands of their own can't see him... but I figured, hey magic might get around that; after all ghosts do.
