[It's the crack of dawn, and Mei looks...rather tired. She hadn't been bothered by the sleeplessness other people suffered last week, but she has her own sleep problem to worry about. Floating behind her is a rather cheerful looking Chimecho who's just chiming away.]

Has anyone else had problems keeping their Pokémon in their balls? This one seems to be an escape artist.

[A pause as she glances back over her shoulder at the offending critter.]

...and she's been doing this since I found her. It only got worse when she evolved. Every morning at five. Without fail.

[Needless to say, it isn't exactly pleasant when you need the rest.]

Is your ball broken? 's never happened to me before. Maybe get a new ball, or if all else fails: duct tape.

If the others stay in, try a new ball in case that's the problem. Pretty cheap solution if it works. Otherwise, maybe you just gotta train it more, let it be outside and tuckered out so it'll stay inside through the night.

My Igglybuff would rather be outside but she hasn't broken out before. Maybe they rather be at your side instead of in a pokeball?

She doesn't act up any time other than the morning. Even if she isn't already in her ball.

[It's very annoying. At least she wasn't quite as loud before she evolved.]

Nobody seems to really get how these pokeballs work...and, I dunno, it seems kind of weird to just keep them in there all the time. Maybe I'm getting soft in my age. [church ur like 5] I just keep mine out if I can.

Although it's getting kinda hard now that a bunch of them are evolving. They get big.

Is she like a cat? Got it in her head that she has to be fed at the asscrack of dawn and now will not leave you the hell alone until you get up?

Maybe you have to...earn her respect? And then she'll listen to you better?

Or get a spray bottle, maybe. If she doesn't like water. I think that's mostly for cats, though. Like actual cats.

Oh, yes! Mad does not like staying in her ball at all.

Especially not while someone has food! She'll just pop right out, and usually bite them!

Hibiki doesn't seem to mind. Her little morning routine is just...tiresome.

Why not let her roam free, then? Some Pokémon simply don't like the confines of their Pokéballs and prefer to stretch their legs... well, assuming they have them.

[He casts a glance toward his Bisharp, currently glowering out a nearby window.]

Though it could simply be that she desires more attention.

Is she always this needy? There are times when good intentions can yield bad behavior. The impression I'm getting here is that she's a touch, erm... needy, and I can't imagine it's helping with your sleep schedule.
