Eleventh Transmutation | [video] Home again, home again...?

[Hello, Johto. Here's a face that hasn't been around for a while! Al frowns and scratches his neck, looking more than a little awkward.]

Um, I know it might not be the best time with the whole 'natural disasters everywhere' thing going on, but...I just wanted to let anyone who remembers me know I'm apparently back to stay? At least for a little while.

[A long, awkward pause, before Al chuckles nervously.]

So, uh, what'd I miss?

[Alphonse laughs and grins--he saw her at prom, sure, but it's still a relief to see her!]

Back at Mom's house, where else? Well, Route 29, technically, but you know. Looks like we've got a bit of cleanup to do around here, though!

_{[Prom or NOT, she's used to all the familiar old faces she gets to see on those strange weekends being a temporary treat-- it had been great to see Al but she hadn't been expecting to see him again. At least not until another one of those weekends rolled around again, anyway.]}

_{[... well, she shouldn't sound TOO surprised. She, Envy, and Henry are god knows where at the moment, too.]}

Yeah, and apparently I got switched over to being a trainer. So even if I did have Clara with me, I wouldn't be flying anywhere.

[He doesn't mind the hiking so much, but he just wants to be home right now, damnit.]

_{[She can never tell exactly what's going to happen to people when they come back-- if they can truly just pick up where they left off after retrieving any remaining Pokemon, or if they really do just have to start all over.]

[Groaning, she shades her eyes to look around.]}

I don't actually know, exactly.

Envy, Henry and I woke up somewhere in the mountains. My best guess is that the terrain is Blackthorn-y but further south than the city.

None of us have any of our flying Pokemon with us so we're effectively stuck walking until we reach civilization.

_{[They don't have any sleeping bags, changes of clothing, or food with them either. Pray 4 them.]}

Oh man...at least it's summer this time around.

[Al takes a moment to revisualize the map of Johto (it's been a while okay?), and frowns a bit before smiling.]

Well, if you are where you think you are, we can at least meet back up once you get down those ledges! We can rock-paper-scissors for who gets the sleeping bag, heh.

Much as I wanna see you again, kiddo, according to the 'Gear, it's at least a week's walk down the mountain before we even get to Route 29. You should at least head over to Cherrygrove where there's beds.

... And air conditioning.

It might take a week just to get to Cherrygrove with all the mess that's been made of the route. [But yeah, he gets the message.] I'll make sure there's some cots free for you guys when you get into town.

_{[Even if it takes him awhile to get there, she's also not... quite sure what kind of a tantrum Envy would throw over having to travel on-foot with his prodigal half-brother. At least if they're flying, nobody has to talk to each other in the air.]}

We'll need 'em.

[Envy wouldn't be the only one throwing a tantrum, for all that Alphonse suggested the idea. Sure, they had lived together, but the two Elrics also tended to avoid each other in that house for the most part.]
