In a couple of days, it's my Angel's birthday! Yup, over twenty years ago the most perfect little girl was born! I still remember it...

But I'll save the poetic waxing of a proud dad for the actual day. I'm not throwing her a big party, 'cause she wouldn't be into that, but I just wanted to give y'all a heads up, 'cause I know a bunch of ya like her a whole lot - which you should, she's awesome. And I know you'd wanna make sure she has the best birthday she can.

...by which I mean you'd better make sure she does.

[Look at what a good father he is, making sure his little girl has a nice birthday. And making sure everyone knows. That he cares. Because that's the important thing, right? Publicly caring.]

Oh, hey, I wanna talk to you about that. Her birthday, not the gift. I asked if we could get together, 'cause I wanna see her, she asked if you could come along, too. She...she gets all weird if there isn't somebody else there, I still don't get what she thinks I'm gonna do...

If it's just me, it isn't a problem, is it? It means that she's comfortable with me.
