[It's just audio at first but soon enough whoever it is that is holding the 'gear figures out how to turn the video on, revealing a certain prince being bear-hugged by his newly transformed Snorlax.]

[Noctis, with his face pressed against Bean's cheek, glares at whoever is holding the 'gear. Said someone let's out a snickering sound before the 'gear wobbles and the one responsible for the video appears.

Shepard--his Lycanroc.

She looks quite pleased with herself as Noct struggles against Bean's hold before finally giving in and just sort of slumping against the delighted marshmallow.]

Yeah, yeah, I'm proud of us. And good job evolving, Bean.

[He shifts a bit, frowning suddenly as he looks over at the 'gear because there's something important that he really needs to confirm.]

Is Bean really going to eat 900lbs of food a day?

Seriously. Even our chocobos back home didn't eat as much and trust me, they could eat a lot.

They're these nine foot tall birds that we have back home that you can ride on. They make traveling a whole hell of a lot easier. Most of the time they're yellow but I had a white one.

Huh, sounds kind of like an ostrich horse. Big tall bird animals that people can ride on.

They're brown, though.

Good to know my world's not the only one with giant birds you can ride on.

I mean..I guess people use some Pokemone to fly but I haven't seen any quite that big--outside of Bean.

Oh yeah, there's all kinds of stuff to ride on, back home. I've got a polar bear dog.

I have a Gyarados I ride. She doesn't fly, but I don't ever need a boat.

[Cue awkward rubbing of the back of his neck here.]

I have seven of those thing. I haven't evolved any of them yet.

...that's a lot of magikarp.

You know you don't have to keep every one you catch, right?

Yeah, I know...they're just.....they're kind of cute.

They're gonna be huge. Have you seen a Gyarados in person? You're gonna have your own private sea dragon army...

I'm kind of planning on waiting until we can find a house before I evolve them all. We were talking about finding something near the water so I figured that might be the best plan.

But having an army of sea dragons would be pretty awesome.

Gyarados definitely do better in water.

I..should probably make sure of that before I evolve any of them, shouldn't I?

Wow, yeah, you really should.

I've heard if they don't like you before they evolve, they're impossible to deal with.

....How can I tell for sure if they like me? I mean, none of the magikarp have tried to attack me or anything yet so that's got to count for something?

That's probably a good sign...but magikarp don't really attack things....

They do just kind of..flop in varying degrees of emotion.

Why do I have a feeling this is going to end badly?

Yeah, there's a good chance you're gonna get eaten by a water dragon in the future!
