[It's been quite some time since Chihiro's shown up on the Network, but since he's been spending most of his time the past few weeks trying to cool down the place for the poor Pokemon living near Mt. Mortar, it leads him to wonder how the rest of the region is doing.

So, when the video starts, Chihiro can be seen sitting on a rock to rest with his Porygon Zip hovering over his shoulder, Henko the Flareon and Hogosha the Arcanine lounging in view just behind him.]

Hello, everyone. I...I know it's been a while since I've posted to the Network, but...I just wanted to see how everyone in other parts of Johto and Kanto are doing. I've heard that things have been a bit of a mess with roads blocked and upset Pokemon...so I hope everyone is okay now, or getting there.

Komasan-chan and I have been helping the Pokemon over at Mt. Mortar. It's very hot, but I think things are starting to get better, finally.

I don't know how much I could help, but...if anyone is still struggling, I could send some of my Pokemon to you to assist if needed.

[He's just worried about ya'll, he can't help it.

With a series of affirmative beeps from Zip, Chihiro ends the feed.]

I think I've mostly recovered. There was something wrong with those woods though, so be careful. My friends and I had to take the long way home since none of us had a functioning team with us.

We're fine now. I don't know if Envy's hair will ever fully recover.

[Chihiro blinks, looking over when Zip hovers closer to the screen with a beep in greeting. Once Chihiro realizes this is a new face, he offers Maurice a kind smile.]

This is my Porygon, Zip. He has been with me for a long time. And back here, these two- [He turns the Gear so the other fire types are in better view.] -are Henko and Hogosha, my Flareon and Arcanine.

I think I'm still doing okay, zura!

[...There is probably a really good chance Komasan is literally sitting close to Chihiro.

What's even worse is that he's totally sincere, he's not trying to be funny or anything. He's just...checking in.]

[...you know, Chihiro isn't sure what he was expecting when he checked the new message on his Gear.

He looks over to where Komasan is right there, laughing softly under his breath.]

I'm glad. I would have been worried if something happened to you while you were sitting here with me.

[Yup, there he is. Still talking through the 'gear.]

Ah, yeah, same, zura. If you need anything, don't be afraid to come over here and tell me, zura.

[All the way over there, Chihiro. Can you do it?]

[...you know what?

Chihiro actually does get up from where he’d been sitting, walks over to where Komasan is sitting (likely still staring into his Gear’s camera)...and presses a quick kiss to his forehead to alert him of his presence before smiling, repeating himself.]

I would have been worried if something happened to you while you were sitting next to me.

[Okay, firefox and firedog she understands, but poorly-sprited-duck? Is that actually an animal? Ochako's squinting a little until she realizes her camera's on and maybe she shouldn't stare at the funny looking pokemon]

Oh! Um... is there a way to send pokemon long distance? I mean, of course there is, if you're talking about it, but how?

[And... her eyes keep drifting back to... ~~Duck Hunt's Smash Prototype from Virtua Fighter 1~~ that Porygon.]

[Chihiro nods while Zip continues to hover nearby, occasionally peering into the Gear himself when he spots an unfamiliar face.]

Well...one way is to put the Pokemon in its ball and then have something that can fly carry it over. Like air mail.

Oh, that makes sense. Though kind of funny too! Like, a little bird could be carrying a big, huge pokemon or something!

[It's... floating...]

Um, can that one fly?

It is a little strange, but having them in their Pokeballs makes that not as much of a problem.

[At that comment, Chihiro nods, wishing he actually had one of his flying types on hand to show her.]

That's right. There are bird Pokemon like Altaria or Pidgeot...or dragon types like Charizard and Dragonite that can all fly.

Yeah, it's just kind of a funny mental image!

Wow, so then... that computer-y looking one you have really is a bird?

[Porygon kind of looks like a bird... or maybe the idea of a bird... tank... thing?]

Been busy as hell, hasn't it? I swear me and my lot haven't caught a single breath.
