Who: Ford and Elsa
Where: Ice Path
When: Now!
Summary: Two big ol' nerds slide around a lot and look for The Best Snover
Rating: PG
[It's been a solid couple of weeks of travel -- longer than it should have been, actually, but they wound up lingering a little more than was strictly necessary. It's not as though the Ice Path or the Snover it contains were going anywhere.
Part of what held them up was no doubt getting sidetracked by hatching the eggs they were both carrying. Ford feels as though he can't really be held responsible for getting wholly distracted by a literal piece of sentient space dust with cute googly eyes. In fact, Betyl the Minior is floating next to his shoulder right now. He's done his level best to wrap a scarf around its circular body, particularly because as a Rock type he knows it's weak to Ice.]
Alright. I think we're about as prepared as we can reasonably be. Shall we?

She knows it would be a better idea to just keep the baby in its ball, but Elsa prefers handling newly-hatched pokemon as much as possible, keeping them out and letting them see the world for at least a few good weeks. She's done this ever since Freya hatched, and hasn't been able to do anything else.]
There's nothing else stopping us, correct? Let's go.
[Elsa's no leader, but the other Pokemon she's got out right now, Marshmallow the Abomasnow, lets out a happy growl and takes the lead! Let us go to the home of my people, friends!]

God damn he is so excited. He always gets that way when he's nearing the end of a project. He follows Marshmallow in, careful where he steps (he's heard there's a lot of chances to slip in here, and that in places you have to traverse smooth ice to proceed.]
It was a stroke of genius, bringing your own Abomasnow. Presumably others of his evolutionary family will be more inclined to show themselves with him around.

But!! On topic. Elsa has a hand in Marshmallow's leafy fur(???) as they walk, also careful of her steps. Walking and running on ice had never been a problem for her back home, but now... now, she's gotta be extra careful.]
Perhaps they might be a little less hostile as well. Marshmallow has always been tame for as long as he's been an Abomasnow, but... I'm not sure how those in the wild might act.

My preliminary research [Because of course he's done some] suggests that Snover will be fairly inquisitive to begin with. The real trouble may not be finding one but rather finding the right one.
[A couple of Swinub scurry away across a nearby patch of ice. Some Golbat swoop overhead. It's actually kind of pretty in here, despite the chill. He's certainly been in worse places.]

Is there something specific you're looking for in a Snover?
