7th Run // A Cerulean Holiday
Who: Ash and the AoT crew in Cerulean
Where: Cerulean City and Water Park
When: 15-20th June
Summary: Ash goes to visit Armin and meets with the rest of his camping crew
Rating: ur, T for language and teenager's horsing around?
Log:
It had taken a few days to get to Cerulean; the half a day on the rocking train, so reminiscent of the trains in London, then the walk from Celadon to Cerulean. But he'd made it. He was here! He got out his Gear and took a picture of his Pokemon, Danny, Dracula and Ceannfort, in front of the Cerulean Welcome Sign, so he could send it to Armin. Danny is waving brightly, Dracula is hanging from his arm with a wing outstretched in greeting, and Ceannfort was...well, Ceannfort.
Guess who's in Cerulean?
IT'S THIS GUY. I need to like, ask a professional on water Pokemon about one of my mons (I'll tell you about her in person, it's a long story), but after that I'm all yours man. You said you were with Jean, how is he? I brought Ceannfort along so they could meet up again too! And Jean could kick my ass if he thought Ceannfort wasn't looking up to scratch or whatever.
Have you been to the Aquarium yet? I'd love to check that out. Oh, I found a flyer for another thing too; a water park!! If you've already been to the Aquarium then we could go there. And if you haven't WE CAN GO TO BOTH. If you want to anyway. I'm going either way cos fuck yeah water parks.
Hit me up, I'll be around!
((Ash is visiting Cerulean! He'll be hanging out with Armin and anyone else in their traveling party who wants to build up some CR with him. There's a thread for water park funtimes in here too, feel free to use it without feeling the need to include Ash!))

THE WATER PARK!
Water pokemon are also welcome, just don't start any fights in the pool! (There's kids in there who do not want to experience a Whirlpool, they'd be in the whirlpool area if they did). Electric types are banned; even a stray spark could really hurt someone.
That all said, enjoy yourselves!
Ash / OTA
Ash himself was wearing his specially brought trunks, thoroughly enjoying swimming with the currents emulated by the pool's pump system. While he didn't need them, he'd snagged some noodles to give to his new buds in case they needed them. Or wanted to bop each other with them! He dunked his head underwater and came up, sweeping his hair back.
"Hey! Who wants to play a game?"
no subject
Nobody wants to deal with all of that hair in the water, let alone the smell of wet dog.
It had left him dejected, and coupled with the fact that Bertolt barely knew this friend of Armin and Jean's, he was more or less keeping to himself. Watching was always fine, right?
"...Do I have to have my Pokemon for it?"
no subject
He beamed at Bertolt, keeping a fair distance. They'd only just met afterall. T-Pain floated between them on his back, most likely completely unaware a conversation was even happening.
"Name's Ash by the way! I met Jean after Prom; one of those Electrodes he patched up is with me now. And Armin and I just got talking over the network."
no subject
Pulling his legs under himself, Bertolt pushes himself up into a proper sitting position by the side of the pool. He hasn't gone into the water yet, so at least half of the scars from his maneuver gear were still hidden - he hasn't exactly had them out in the open since the Sevii Islands, and he's not sure if people would stare or not.
Probably not, but still.
"...Did they ever mention me at all? Uh, Bertolt?"
no subject
He swam to the edge and rested his arms on the side beside Bertolt. "You just seemed kinda...I dunno. By yourself? So I figured I'd stop by. And T-Pain's always good to meet people. I'm not gonna make you do anything. You couldn't bring any Pokemon in with ya?"
no subject
Even his Aron, man! It's not like he would've eaten anything! And he wouldn't have jumped in the pool! ...Probably. He's actually not sure what he would've done, but he knows he would've shot straight down to the bottom. Tiny, compact Pokemon that weigh nearly two hundred pounds are not as buoyant as other Pokemon. "I don't have any water types with me either, so that's, uh..."
no subject
"How about you borrow one of mine? I'll ask for them back at the end of the day but they're friendly. That way you won't be by yourself." By now T-Pain had realised Ash was talking to someone and flipped onto his front, swimming over to Bertolt and giving him a dopey smile. "Slooo."

Jean and I made it back to town two days ago, so we've met up with the others again.
I'm sure Jean and Blitz would like to see Ceannfort again.
I haven't been to the aquarium yet, though it has been on my list of places to visit.
I'd love to visit it with you. And hear about your new pokemon.
(If you need an expert on water pokemon, the gym leader is very knowledgable.)
And, of course Mina wants to meet her little brother.

And I'll have her with me after; there's so many pools and shit I bet there'll be one she can swim in while we catch up.

[Ah, like Nemesis then. It makes Armin wonder what had happened to her, but he doesn't ask. It sounds like Ash intends to tell him later. He can be patient.]
I wouldn't want to intrude on a conversation like that.
We can meet afterwards though. I don't mind waiting.
text > action!
True to his word, Ash would wait outside the Cerulean Gym, nearby a spacious lake. He sent Armin his exact address and waited, perched on the edge of the water; Ceannfort beside him, making cracking noises in a reassuring way to a Lapras, who was floating beside them. She leaned her head down, so she could listen to Ceannfort and accept Ash petting her neck. He beamed when he saw Armin and stood up.
"Hey! Over here!"
action
"Ash! It's good to finally meet you in person." Certainly they had talked over the gear, but for Armin, it just never was the same as actually meeting someone in person.
And from the top of his head, Mina added a cheerful chittering. Yes, hello, good day.
no subject
Ceannfort recognised Armin and gave a grumbly crackle in greeting. The Lapras lifted her head, watching Armin timidly, She paddled closer to Ceannfort, who gave her a reassuring static hiss.

I want to see Ceannfort
no subject
I got another Pokemon who needs some help too, and this place apparently has some water experts I can see. I'll fully explain later but Ceannfort's been taking care of her and, well everyone. (sometimes by zapping us when we aren't doing shit right, according to him!)
[ Included in a picture! It shows Ceannfort, still a bit scruffed up but looking healthy. He's with a Lapras, who is leaning down to smile shyly to him, and a Vivillon resting on top of him. ]
no subject
he looks great!
and that's how Electrodes show they care
or mold the world until it's the way they want it, if they're Blitz
speaking of, want to meet up sometime? I think Blitz and Donner would like to see Ceannfort, and then we could hang out
no subject
It's pretty cute tho, he won't zap Scuabtuinne or Etain (the lapras and vivillon in the pic). They're his favs, we all see how it is.
When dya wanna meet up? I'm on my way to the gym so we can meet up around there after. I'm challenging them YET, but they're the person to see about water types I heard.
no subject
or at least he wants to be one someday
yeah, Blitz won't zap his favorites either
he's never zapped Polo or Magellan
lucky cats
sure, send me a message when you're done with the gym, and I'll meet you next to it

"Hey!"
Action
Oh gods, Ceannfort kept his shutter shades. That is incredibly endearing, and Jean smiles at the Electrode. "Hey there, old man. Looking good."
Blitz and Donner, Jean's constant companions, go rolling over to Ceannfort, crackling excitedly and ready to exchange all the quality Electrode gossip. Fat Ice Dog is more interested in the Lapras and Magikarp, and rolls to the edge of the water, barking cheerfully and happily. Hello, new friends.
"You caught a Magikarp!" Jean approves. "They're so cool when they evolve."
no subject
Ash stepped up and gave Jean a one arm-ed hug in greeting, just as he had Armin. "It's great to see ya dude! And to have your approval on Ceannfort's handsome self. This is Dish and Scuabtuinne- Oh, they do evolve? A mate of mine caught a bunch of em and gave me one. He didn't say anything about evolving. It's hilarious, she's got so much moxie. Do they evolve into like, really pretty kois?" Ash genuinely has no idea about Gyarados. He thought his Magikarp was just going to become a bigger, prettier and more kickass fish. Dish swam over to say hello to Fat Ice Dog, tentatively followed by Scuabtuinne, who was careful to put Ash between herself and Jean.
At the sight of Fat Ice Dog, Ash gasped. He knelt down to get a better look at the Spheal. "Oh. My fucking God."
