It would be normal food - unless they wanted Nat to go all professional chef on them. It's just they had a magical knack (literally) for food preparation. Anything they make will takes amazing.

"Well, it's sort of like everyone you know got to go the circus and see the most awesome of awesomest shows ever and you were going to go too but then you had to go and do chores instead and the circus left the next day so you couldn't go and see it and everyone at school was talking about it the next day."
