House crashing
Who Ceilidh, Sion and Ryner
Where Sion and Ryner's house.
When Lunchtime
Summary Ceilidh invited herself over and is letting herself in.
Note Closed.
After talking to Rose, Ceilidh made her way to Sion and Ryner's place. No humans were home but that didn't really matter to much to her. Picking locks and breaking into places was relatively easy for Ceilidh. She'd learned how to pick them starting when she was four. It was a family game to lock someone up in a room and see how long it took for them to break out. When she learned that other families didn't do that, she'd been quite bewildered. Lock picks were pretty easy to make. They weren't the best lock picks, but they were ... decent.
The lack of security surprised her, no wards, no horseshoe above the door at the very least. Which was good - she wasn't that good at breaking through wards.
With Pickles playing watch, she hummed quietly to herself as she picked the front door's lock.

Like the lucario that, open hearing the door opening, immediately dashed across the room to see what was going on. Sion certainly hadn't told him to expect guests, and this one hadn't even knocked, after all!
Which meant that Ceilidh was now abruptly face to face with a blur of blue and black, eyes narrowed and paws poised like it's ready to strike with Aura Sphere at a moment's notice.

While she talked, she shoved the lock picks back into her pockets. Nothing about her manner seems to be hostile ... or that she was doing anything wrong by picking locks instead of ringing the doorbell or knocking. Something that, you know, normal people would do.
Pickles turn around on Celidh's shoulder and tilted her head, curiously looking at the lucario.

Which meant that while he certainly wasn't about to attack or anything, he wasn't backing down just yet either.
"She's at the gym with Ryner," he replied. Not that he expected a human to understand him, but hopefully the suspicious gaze and body language would give at least a hint.

When the gym is mentioned, she glanced over in its direction. "Is she really? Oh. Well, do you mind if we come in and wait for her, Sion and Ryner to come home? I want to be a surprise for them."
She paused for a moment. "I could make cake or cookies or pie for everyone. I know how to make really good pie."
no subject
"You're one of their friends?"
no subject
This isn't a complete and utter lie, in her mind at least. Other people might say otherwise.
"And I promised Rose I'd help make Sion feel... happier. Pie always helps with that."
She didn't step into the house though, not having gotten an explicit invitation to come in.
no subject
Or maybe he just liked the sound of pie and figured he can still keep an eye on things anyway.
"Did you bring pie?"
He totally wasn't looking to see if she had some, nope.

"You should probably ask Marian though. She's in the kitchen now," he added, gesturing to point in the general location the kitchen could be located. Nevermind that the edge of it was probably visible from the front door.

Princess She Who Devours the Darkness in People's Souls launched off of Ceilidh's shoulder to check the kitchen out. She landed on a counter and started to poke around to see if there was anything to peck at. The drawers looked pretty interesting...
no subject
"Something that tastes good?"
Yeah, he wasn't going to be terribly helpful as far as that went.
The front door opened to a living room area that spanned the length of the house. At the far end was a pair of sliding glass doors that appeared to open out to a deck, and the ceiling of the room went all the way to that of the second floor, with a balcony visible above where the bedrooms were. There was, of course, various pieces of furniture about, mostly things like a comfy couch and chairs, with a few pokemon lounging on or around them, who may or may not bother to give the visitor a curious look. (After all, if Just is fine with it, it's no big deal, right?)
As for the kitchen itself, however... Well, at the moment that was a certain Yamask's domain.

what passes forsausage, along with a large pot and some spoons and knives. The spice cabinet was also open, however, and its contents rustled a little.Much as she still missed her old life, Marian had to admit that some days, there were advantages to being a ghost. Like being able to get inside the spice cabinet all the way into the back corner where a silly prankster had decided to stash the oregano for some odd reason. Back when she was alive, she would have probably needed to dig out a stool.
(But there are benefits to deep cupboards too. Like Shira not being able to get into the spices.)
She was still halfway inside the cabinet, though, when she heard someone come into the kitchen, and peeked out uncertainly when she realized that she didn't recognize who it was.
no subject
"I was told that you were the person to talk to about the kitchen and anything to do with it."
Yes, Ceilidh is just acting like they knew each other and she belonged there. Or at least, they were friends even if they didn't know each other. Everything would be fine and dandy and awesome with everyone.

Upon reaching the front door, however, Sion went to open it... and paused.
no subject
So really, it's only natural that he's halfway through a yawn when Sion pauses at the door, and he himself stops the yawn right there.
"Hnn? Sion?"
no subject
"Did we lock the door this morning?" he said simply.
no subject
He leaned a little closer to get a better look. "I thought we did..."
no subject
And Sion was quite sure that there was effectively no way anyone, not even Team Rocket with all the resources they could scrounge up, could possibly mess with the house without creating some kind of scene. At least enough of a commotion that they'd get word or otherwise hear of it from the gym.
"Unless one of them was messing with the door..."
no subject
(Cotton fluff doesn't have thumbs, after all.)
"Well, they'd have said something if something had happened, right?" So everything was probably fine.
no subject
With that said, he turned the knob to open the door. Of course, he hadn't survived to adulthood without gaining a fair bit of (justified) paranoia, so he didn't step inside just yet, instead opening the door gently and taking a quick look first. His gaze was met with the sight of the living room more or less as they'd left it, including Just and the other pokemon lounging or playing on the furniture.
In other words, nothing certainly looked out of place, so Sion stepped inside.
no subject
Everything was probably fine. And the Pokemon being relaxed was promising. But until it was certain... it couldn't hurt to pay a little more attention, at least.
no subject
He could hear someone in the kitchen, but that much he expected from Marian. Really, everything seemed just about normal.... That is, until he spotted the murkrow on the edge of the counter. And he was quite sure neither he nor Ryner had ever had one of those. Not to mention the brightly colored, glittery collar said murkrow was wearing.
Sion paused in the middle of the room, eyebrow raised, and tilted his head slightly to bring it to Ryner's attention, as well.
"Did someone let you in," he said deadpan, "or do we need to invest in a better lock?"
no subject
Looking rather pleased with herself, she puffed up her feathers and then started to preen her feathers.
This however brought out Ceilidh, who had flour in her hair and something gooey on her nose. "Surprise!" Up comes a pie in pot holdered hands.
no subject
...The person, on the other hand.
He tensed, eyes narrowing as he readied himself to spring into action if needed. ...Though the fact that she was cooking, of all things, was different.
"Who are you?" he asked.
...Of course, then the Clefairy on his shoulder decided to wave at Ceilidh with a cheerful "Clef!" (or "Hi!") of greeting, because at least Rose knew who this was.
no subject
"Her name's Ceilidh, we've spoken on the network before," he explained, then turned back to her with a raised eyebrow. "Though I certainly hadn't known of any plans to stop by today."
