Well, that seemed like a bust.

See, when I heard there were ruins around I figured there'd probably be something cool like in-

[All of a sudden, something appears from offscreen. It's... pink? Not like super vibrant pink, but nonetheless definitely pink.

But that doesn't matter, since some of it got on his hair. Josuke turns to look in the direction it came from - and over there is a Smeargle that's drawn his face in profile, with one huge noticeable addition - a gigantic X over the drawing's pompadour.]

YOU... [Smeear, it says, taunting him, but the mic doesn't pick it up very loudly. Josuke's voice, however, has dropped significantly and there's an... unmistakeable fury behind it.]

I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!

[Josuke drops the Pokégear unexpectedly, leaving what happens next up to the viewer's imagination. Or, it would if he wasn't throwing pretty much everything in his bag at it and it wasn't flinging all the ink it can back at him.

Eventually, there's the tell-tale sound of a successful capture, and Josuke, who is now covered in the stuff, picks the Gear back up and turns the recording off without a word.]

Yeah, a manga artist. He was stealing my friend's memories as "material".

Nah, it's his Stand. Turns people into paper with their memories and stuff on it, and he just ripped out some pages.

They got put back after I beat him up, it's okay. And then whatever manga he does went on hiatus for like a month while he was in the hospital.

Uhhh, wow, that uh... I mean, I guess he did kind of rip your friend's memories out... and he didn't do anything bad after that? Did he get arrested or anything?

Normal people can't see Stands, remember? Who'd believe a story like that?

[Matters of justice are... complicated when they involve people with undetectable superpowers.]

And nah, he didn't do anything bad after that, but he still hates my guts.

Oh, right, I guess you said something like that, huh? That's pretty weird to think about, having powers that most people don't believe exist.

I mean, you did kind of put him in the hospital...

Most people don't need to, so it isn't that big a deal. When you get someone startin' trouble with one, things are different.

Look, he deserved it and that's all I'm gonna say.

So I mean, does that mean other people with Stands are the only ones who can stop them? That sounds like a lot of responsibility.

[Like, sure, she's aiming to be a hero, but that's her choice - she wouldn't want just anyone who happened to have a power to have to step up to the plate]

It kinda sounds like it, but I don't blame him for being resentful either!

That's the way it shakes, yeah. 'Course, not every Stand is good for that kinda thing - like, there's this guy I know who owns a restaurant, and his Stand just makes all the food even more tasty and fix people's health problems.

[It was the best water he'd ever had. And then he only occasionally went back because... money.]

I guess that's not very useful for fighting crime... but hey, at least he can help you with any injuries you rack up when you do? Oh, or do you mean like... "ooh, my aching back is all better!" sorta health problems?

...I don't think we tried the first one, actually, 'cause I had that covered. I was talkin' more cavities and that sorta thing. Fair warning, it's really not pretty to look at.

Oh, you have healing powers? [That's kind of surprising, for such a tough-looking guy.]

What, like... do you throw up the bad stuff or something?

That's me, I fix stuff. Injuries, property damage, you name it - just as long as it's not death or me.

[Or partially erased from existence, but only The Hand could do something like that, right?

But he honestly can't decide whether uncontrollable vomiting is better or worse than what he did see at Trussardi. He opts for "worse".]

...well, close. I hadn't seen it, and I figure vomiting'd wreck the taste. Like, keeping on the whole cavity thing, the tooth would just kinda fly out of your mouth and then you'd grow in a new one on the spot.

Still, anything short of death is pretty impressive.

It's not the worst thing you might see there.

[having one's guts seem to explode out of their body and still being fine is. rather shocking.]

And then you still have to pay for it, which is the reason I don't go there often.
