[Yeah that's..that's not..that voice is definitely in everyone's head.

Anyone that happens to see the video will see a very odd looking little Vulpix seated in front of a bonfire on a beach, her tails swaying back and forth rather rhythmically. A scarf that one might see a fortune teller wearing is wrapped around her head and carefully around her ears, covering her eyes completely and purposefully.

Beside her sits a rather large Mimikyu, his eyes glowing softly as he clearly uses Psychic to aid his mistress in speaking even if both of them believe it is 100% her doing.]

When the time is right, Fire will touch everyone and you will know the truth. We will touch the sky and kiss the earth and none shall stop us.

[Okay. Because that makes sense.

Her tails stop moving and her mouth opens, a small puff of flames escaping her.]

We are dying embers but we are strong.

Sierra what are--how did you get my 'gear?

[Cissnei is visible for a brief moment as she comes around the bonfire looking confused, reaching for her device despite protests from Bahamut the Mimikyu who attempts to reach for it only to miss. The red-head gives the ghost a strange look then looks at the 'gear, an apologetic look on her face.]

I had no idea those two were broadcasting. Sorry about that, everyone.

[ Stella stares into the gear, bent down slightly, nine tails flopped out behind her with her hackles raised and eyes a'glitter. This Vulpix was... was... magical There was no other way to describe it. Why did this Vulpix sound so convincing? Not even Luna could capture Stella's attention this much. This was...

She starts panting when the other voice appears then Sierra disappears from view. She howls at that, rolling dramatically onto the ground. No!! No no no!! She wanted more Sierra!! How could she reach the Vulpix?! ]

What is wrong with you now, Stella?

[ Stupid trainer. Stella stays laying with her legs stretched above her, back legs kicking. ]

Stella? Stella, don't do that, you'll break something.

[ Luna trots over and lays down next to the fire-type, nuzzling the warm fur gently with her cool nose.

Ignis was picking up his gear, frowning a little when he sees its just a red-headed girl. ]

What happened? My Ninetales was watching something then began acting strangely.

[Talk about rather dramatic--Oh. Oh that was...that was probably one of Reno's, wasn't it?]

My Pokemon took my 'gear and started broadcasting. I'm very sorry. I'm not entirely sure what they were doing.

[Cissnei smiles a bit sheepishly, glancing to the side as Bahamut climbs up onto her shoulder, reaching out with his ghostly hands to try and get the 'gear.]

Bahamut, enough.

Bahamut?

[ Ignis looked startled at the name. He'd only heard the name Bahamut in one context. It was impossible to think that it would be appearing in other worlds, though it was just a name. ]

That's... a unique name to choose.

[ Yeah. Unique.

Stella rolls to her feet, back still arched like a cat's as she stomps around angerly. Luna just watches her silently. ]

[Gaze shifting back to the 'gear, Cissnei gives him a curious look.]

It's the name of something from home. [A pause.] You act like you've heard it before. Have you?

[The Mimikyu pauses and peers at Ignis with interest, the glow in his eyes fading momentarily.

You've heard of the divine beast he's named after?]

Bahamut is the name of the Draconian, the Astral that held vigil until the Chosen King appeared. He's referred to also as the God of War.

[ Ignis knew quite a bit about things associated with Lucis. He had to. And this was the final Astral Noct was to form a covenant with. ]

So, to put it shortly, it is the name of something from home.

Interesting. Where I'm from, Bahamut is a summon you can call upon if you obtain the right materia. There are several different species of Bahamut but no one knows much about all of them, there are just theories.

[And she takes what Hojo says with a grain of salt.]

It sounds like we come from similar places.

Summoning occurs here as well but it is the King of Lucis and the Oracle who are capable of performing such feats.

[ A bit more exclusive than a materia. An interesting correlation none the less.]

Fascinating. Perhaps there are others that line up..? We have Ramuh, Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit and Titan...

It wasn't limited for us, it was simply a matter of finding the materia in a lot of cases. And they weren't always easy to come across.

I recognize all of those actually.

Ah. That's fascinating. I wonder if our worlds are connected in a way. Perhaps parallel with some aspects.

[It wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility.]

I would hope they make better use of themselves than in our world.

They might be, parallel that is. Which would be rather fascinating in it's own right.

Oh? Are you not able to harness their abilities in your world?

Two people in our world are able to utilize their power. The King of Lucis and the Oracle. The gods themselves...

Well..

[ Ignis shakes his head slightly. ]

They ... caused the problems we have in our world, in a roundabout manner.

[There's a worried looking small Charmander on the screen, mouth covered in concern.]

It's going to get everyone? B-b-but what if people get burnt?

[Having gotten the 'gear back, Bahamut returns it to Sierra who is still sitting calmly by the fire. The Mimikyu's eyes glow once more and the Vulpix's tails resume their swaying.]

Fire will not harm those that believe.

[Newt give a small squeak.]

No! I don't want my friends to get hurt!

Are they non-believers? They must be lost if they do not believe.

Th-that's not fair! You can't just get rid of everyone because they don't think the same!

C-Can you?

[Sierra's tails flicked rather suddenly and she lowered her head as Bahamut swayed behind her.]

It is not I who does anything but the Fire. It has it's own will.

[Little Charmander is welling with tears.]

No! You're a lair! I don't want bad things to happen to my friends!

[Little Newt don't cry! Don't listen to the crazy fox!]

Then you must make them believe in the Fire. Understand that the Fire is everything.

[Too late, he is starting to hiccup little flames.]

I-I don't know wh-what you're talking about.

[Some vines appear and wrap themselves around the Charmander soothingly and an Ivysaur walks on.]

There there, little one.

[She looks at the Vulpix.]

Those are your opinions dear, and you're welcome to them. But I'd appreciate it if you'd refrained from fear mongering minors. Perhaps stick to preaching instead of scaring small children?

[Sierra's tails stop moving and her ears flick which causes the Mimikyu at her side to let out a low growl.]

A non-believer. You will learn. Or you shall burn when Fire frees you all from your lies.

[She let's out a puff of flames then turns her head away, clearly done with this particular non-believer. Bahamut bows and stretches out a dark hand to click off the 'gear, sneering at the Ivysaur as he does.

You should be ASHAMED.]

That's you're opinion, as a child playing a false prophet we can't expect more.

[The Ivysaur is cheery as the call is ended and she comforts the little Charmander, not giving the two Pokemon a second thought.]

[What is wrong with your vulpixes, Cissnei, why.]

Has anyone ever mentioned you have the most interesting Pokemon they've ever seen?

[Feel free not to take that as a compliment.]

Well I'm glad you've found use for one of the Pokemon you adopted from me.

[She does smile now, head tilting.]

I'm all right, Al and I are thinking about settling in Goldenrod I guess, after he gets the rest of his badges. I'm in no rush, personally.

[Saying the next part was still pretty weird, so there's a pause as if getting the wording out is sort of difficult.]

Spent Christmas with my homicidal half-brother, the Vulpix I got from you raided their cabinets and stole pots and pans while we were there.

[He has no idea what that's all about.]

Been traveling again mostly. I spent a fair bit of time on the Sevii Islands but I'm back on the road now and I have three more badges to go before I've finished Kanto up.

[He does, just don't tell him that.]

I'm a breeder, so I don't really need them with some of the perks I have.

[He doesn't really care about money, and he'd rather not rush leveling.]

Yeah, apparently they make great hats.

Oh no, just Kanto. I haven't done anything in Johto yet and I don't know if I'm going to attempt it right away either.

[Not like he runs around shouting it from the roof tops, he's not even entirely sure what to do with it.]

[Then she can actually grin, because he certainly finds the whole thing amusing if a bit odd. Don't let anyone tell him the Vulpix is growing on him though, he'd just deny it.]

You started over there? That's interesting, I might go back and forth since Al's collecting his Kanto badges now and we usually stick together.

[Fiddleford McGucket sees the video.

He stares, wide-eyed, as the Vulpix talks directly into his mind, about fire and earth and sky, frozen.

Then, about when she gets to embers, he reaches out wildly with spindly fingers toward a large flat hammer meant for metalworking, and with frantic, manic energy, he smashes the Pokegear.

It's going to take him a minute to recover, and stop hyperventilating.

Tinfoil. He needs to find tinfoil.
He needs to reinforce the protective barrier in his hat so that that doesn't happen again.]

[Yes human. You should be scared. You should be worried.

Be very worried.]
