Well, at the very least he can read them better than Eren can who seemingly still hasn't figured out Mikasa's interest in him is not entirely sisterly. And he can certainly see how Donner and Blitz are in love. And even how Jonathan and Mina seem to be growing closer together. And, of course, that Baily and Amadeus are a power-couple that cannot be doubted.
(basically, as long as it doesn't involve him he can see it.)

I wasn't even aware they hung out much. Polo is terrified of water. Whenever he misbehaves, we use this little spray bottle of water to chase him off.
