Question for the Masses - Video

Okay, question for the masses.

I've got a Megastone and a level 100 Pokemon.

How do I make this happen? Do I have to be in battle to use it? It's reuseable right?

I ask because I'm going to resume the gym challenge at the Elite level. Stupid I know, but I want a fair fight.

Hey man! Me and Danny just figured it out actually we can tell ya about it! So, it is reusable, but we can only use it like, once a week abouts? It's really tiring and it's...a bit much for us to use too often.

The key thing about it is just being in sync with your Pokemon. The first time we managed to do it, we'd actually been meditating on some stuff together and next thing we knew, Danny had changed form! It was really cool!

So being in sync with your Pokemon. That makes sense, I would probably need to do that. I mean, we're already pretty much in sync already, but having a strong bond sounds very much like something I'm used to.

I guess from here on in it's practice.

Oh yeah. I actually got told more about what it was after the Pokemon Contests. We'd been practicing since then; just got the hang of it a week or so ago.

[ Danny boofed and showed off his mega-stone; it's on a cuff on his wrist, exactly the same as Ash's Keystone. ]

Ur, quick word of warning though. When I said it's a bit too much; apparently it can change how a Pokemon behaves.

Ampharos is pretty mild mannered, so I'll be prepared for that. It's kind of like having a super power up I guess.

Ur, that's what I mean. See, Danny's really chill. He's a bit of a goof and like, he has his limits with how hard he'll fight another Pokemon. But with Mega Evolution, something changes about him. It's like he can't stop fighting, and he doesn't care about holding back, even when his opponent is on the floor.

[ Danny dropped his muzzle, giving a single nod. That hadn't been a fun discovery for either of them, or the Pokemon around them. ] Like it should be fine if you don't overuse it I think? But it's best you know so you can be careful with it.

[It reminded her about some of the Riders who had superpowers that made them go nuts for a bit.]

I'll be careful about overusing it then.

It's reusable, though not immediately. As for the 'how'... with your strong heart and your bond with your Pokémon, I believe it'll come to you naturally when you need it. You already have what it takes, after all.

Unless you suddenly decide to mistreat your Pokémon, I don't think you could. It's extremely difficult to reach level 100 without bonding, after all.

Ah, that's true. I wouldn't mistreat them at all. It's even hard for me to discipline them when they start licking the butter during baking.

Rest easy, disciplining them when they interfere with your baking is unlikely to ruin your hopes of achieving mega evolution. ...In fact, it'd be a good idea.
