Video
[It's been a very rough collection of weeks. But rather than mope about and drink - tempting as it is - Lust is trying to be somewhat productive. And god knew there's been enough disheartening and mourning posts on the network of late, she doesn't need to pile on to that. Besides...this time she has Pokemon, as a living memory. Strange as it seems, that helps.]
[So the video opens on three small Espurr, sitting all in a line on a carpet that anyone familiar will recognize as the living room of Lust's home. One Espurr is wearing a pink ribbon around her neck and a bow on her head, the other two are wearing little bow ties - red and blue respectively. Lust's ankles and feet can be seen in the background.]
Alright darlings, just like we practiced.
[The Espurrs turn as one to look at her. They stand up on their stubby little legs....]
[And then it's just chaos. The one in pink toddles hurriedly off to paw and jump at Lust's ankles, while the one in the red bow tie flops onto his stomach and starts chewing on the tail of the third. Who simply stands there and wails.]
Oh for the love of...Mehitabel, move I'm going to step on you...
[There's a blur of movement as Lust scoops up the gear - as well as the wailing green bow tied Espurr - and holds it up to her own face. Which looks rather tired.]
I swear that went better in practice. They're learning to dance.
To varying degrees of success.
This has nothing to do with dancing Espurr, but I think I'd like to take an extended trip soon. I could use a change of scenery for a time.

Action
We'll ....they are still learning.

[But turn on the camera, and of course it falls to pieces. Oh well.]
[The espurr in the blue bow tie is now pawing at Lust's ankles, though he seems more intent on his brother's tail than anything else. Mehitabel, meanwhile, is making her way towards Harry, fixing him with her giant, vacant-seeming eyes.]
Toulouse! What is the matter with you? [Well, besides recently losing his trainer.] Stop that! You'll all go on timeouts, I mean it!

[It's amazing how you get used to vacant staring eyes when they come from cute cat like creatures.
why didn't silent hill have creatures like that?. He'll move forward so she doesn't wander too far away from the rest if she's wandering towards him.]Maybe they're camera shy.

[Lust sets Berlioz down - away from his brother - and shakes her head at the lot of them.]
Mehitabel, the one coming to say hello to you, certainly isn't. And the boys should be used to it, when they were with Timothy I'd have him stream me video of them every evening. And they could visit with Mehitabel that way. They're all from the same litter.

Okay, fair point. They're adorable.
Maybe they just need more practise.

[Lust takes a seat on the couch, and it isn't long before she's joined by the entire family - minus Mehitabel, who's plunked herself down at Harry's feet.]
Do you remember, I think it was maybe prom weekend...or perhaps before, time's become a blur recently. But you mentioned your own interest in seeing more of the world and catching more Pokemon of your own? I was thinking of going to Kanto for a while, would you like to come?
I hate traveling alone.
no subject
I'd love to.
It'll be my first trip in a while, not counting prom. Also despite what Heather may or may not have said, it is possible for me to pass by a bookstore without wandering in.
[He smiles at that.]
And, I think I heard Heather and Envy were going for their badges soon, so I'd rather not be alone in the house myself as well.

video;
That's really cute.
[Those little cats are just. They're too cute. Who let them be that way.]
Did you have a destination in mind?
video;
I think perhaps...Kanto. It's been some time since I was there for a proper trip, I've only taken weekends here and there in the last few years. And there are Pokemon I can't catch anywhere else that I'd like.
video;
Lust, I'm sorry. You've probably heard that a lot by now, but... I am.
[It's time to wish there were an instant route to Goldenrod now, once again.]
I hope it helps. I know one of my team headed out that way recently.
video;
It's certainly high time I got out of the house.
video;
If you end up in the Sevii Islands... that's where we live.
video;
That's good to know. I'm traveling with one of my housemates, I don't think he's seen much of the islands.

[Then, because Lust looks so tired...]
Fuchsia is lovely at this time of the year, though there's little to do beyond its local specialties.
[video]
I vaguely remember Fuchsia. It's been so long since I spent any real time in Kanto.
[video]
Most of us do end up staying in Johto, don't we. Poor unloved Kanto, always an afterthought.
[video]
It's true, I've been in Goldenrod for years.
[video]
Even when torn from our worlds and given free reign to travel as we will, people manage to settle down and build stable lives. Often in Goldenrod, in fact. I guess it means we really can adapt to anything.
[video]
Goldenrod is a convenient hub. And it was where we found a house we liked. Then with working at the circus...yes, I'm rather settled here. But it will be good to take a trip.

[Which means he's probably reached the end of Henry's stash, and has had to return to reality.]
[There's still a definite tiredness behind his own eyes, but the more people he loses, the...not easier, but quicker to deal with it gets. He even cracks a snicker that sounds halfway genuine.]
Looks like they still need a lot of practice.
[He almost, almost automatically makes a quip about putting them in the circus, but...well, even if that's still an option, with the Pokemon running it, that's still fresh too.]
Change of scenery sounds like the thing to do. Heather and I are going back out to win the last badge and the league.
[video]
[There's a general sense of tiredness and low spirits through the house in general, really.]
Good luck to you both, though I doubt you need it. Harry and I have been discussing taking an extended trip to Kanto. For Pokemon. And perhaps a few Gyms. Neither of us wants to rattle the house right now, less so if it's nearly empty.
[video]
But I'm not gonna say no to extra luck anyway.
You guys gonna go be the most mature adults in the woods? I bet you'll remember sunscreen and extra hats and everything.
[video]
Of course I'll remember sunscreen and hats, you know what happens to me when I don't. Especially in summer and visiting Kanto. I'd come home redder and oozing more unpleasantly than a Slugma.
[video]
I'll settle for being very, very difficult.
With one of those awful complicated puzzles to get to me, too.
[He snickers, even if it's less enthusiastic than usual.]
Well then it's a good thing you're both so responsible. How long are you gonna spend in Mt Moon this time?
[video]
Of course you'd have a complicated puzzle. Have you chosen some sort of aesthetic yet?
[Lust rolls her eyes.]
Please. We're only spending a few days - Harry's never been, you know. And I'm bringing Esther - she was born here, in Johto. She's never been to the mountain.
