Ed's Vulpix ignored Roy's because it only cared about one thing, and that was getting off the ground. Once it was comfortably on the Ponyta's back it watched the other Vulpix curiously from its new perch.
"Riverview? What's that?" Where the hell would he have an apartment? "I don't know, Al and I always get separated during these stupid weekends. We'll regroup when it's over." Which was, logically, once Roy was gone. That meant Al was here though, as far as Edward was aware.
He groaned when Roy's Vulpix approached Mustang, who shook the bag out helpfully to allow the other Pokemon his own choice of snack. Mustang was always good at finding food when he wanted to, and seemed to have no qualms sharing. "This is getting ridiculous, what are you talking about Colonel?" It slipped out before his brain even registered it, and there was a brief flicker of surprise in his expression at his own words - but he focused his attention on bending down to clean up his pack instead of dwelling on it.
