[If you're lucky enough, you may stumble upon this impressive assortment of teas, cakes, and sandwiches while wandering through one of the many forests of Pokeworld. A number of recognisable Pokemon are already seated at the table: Mismagius, Azumarill, Buneary, and for some reason multiple Pikachu all wearing different hats.

At the far end of the table floats a large and rather fluffy cat with magenta stripes, presently very much occupied with emptying a ridiculous amount of sugar into a freshly brewed cup of tea. The feline glances up as you approach, mouth splitting into an unnervingly wide grin.]

[It's early afternoon and the Cheshire Cat can be found relaxing on a rooftop...and hurling Pokeballs at unsuspecting passers-by. After all, he's witnessed plenty of humans throwing these at Pokemon but hasn't seen a single Pokemon return the favour. 

And that just really isn't fair, is it?]

[Hermione rubbed her shoulder where a pokeball had smacked into it. She glared at the purple cat on the roof. From this distance it didn't look like a pokemon she recognised. Then again, there was a lot of weird stuff happening right now, what with her magic returning etcetera And the cat look distinctly familiar...]

That's extremely rude! I get that people might have thrown balls at you before, but I'm not one of those people who believes pokemon should be in pokeballs.

A)

[It's been a long time. But despite this, it feels like he blinks and he's suddenly back. Back in a world not characterized by hues of black and grey and the occasional glaring red, but almost too bright and upbeat with a constant tune in the back of your head like everything will always be okay.

Kaneki finds himself standing in the very center of a path somewhere, confusing yet...completely familiar since he'd been on it before and only is just now remembering. He feels a pressure on his shoulder and looks quickly to the left with a jerk.]

Hey-

[He blinks slowly, realizing two things at once. One...that he can't immediately see very easily what it is since his eyepatch is there when it hadn't used to be, and two being that the pressure was from the claws of a Zangoose perched on his shoulder, watching him with intense eyes.

Kaneki exhales and relaxes, smiling as he pets the side of her face. Even the grumpy Pokemon seems relieved, growling softly under her breath.]

I missed you too.

[He hesitates before taking the eyepatch off and putting it in his pocket before he starts walking.

Time to see who else he's missed.]

B)

[Kaneki gets teleported...a lot during the time he spends back here, so needless to say he ends up in quite a few places he remembers. Namely Goldenrod. Of course he doesn't expect things to be the same, not exactly, but...he can't help but look for the old bookstore he worked at.

It's not exact as it had been- but really, when are things exactly as you remembered them- but it's familiar enough that he's actually stunned into stopping before he actually walks inside. It's really the scent that knocks him off his feet when he steps in, the smell of coffee from the connected cafe almost enough to bring tears to his eyes.

He wanders to the bookshelves to find something to read. He wants an excuse to stay for a while.]

[... if you're out on a Route, you will, hilariously, catch a glimpse of a purple police car, zooming past. If you're fortunate enough, you'll see a Growlithe hanging its head out the window, and a Froakie at the steering wheel.]

[There is a giant, purple, robot canine trotting cheerfully down the street. Complete with glowing yellow eyes, and a stubby tail. Said tail is totally wagging. He's got no idea what's happened, or why he's been restored to his former body, but he's enjoying it.]

[... if you find him in a local park, try not to laugh as the purple dog the size of a soccer mom van plays frisbee with a Growlithe. Both of them wagging their tails and chasing the toy with enthusiasm.]

1) WHY GIBLES?
[It's a picturesque beach house. One with a porch and sand and all kinds of nice relaxing things. There are Incineroars rolling and wrestling. Spheals bounding through the surf. Flashes of white and red in the bushes... don't worry about that one too much.]

[And on the beach is none other than Shiro himself. Trying to prod a small, blue, shark-shaped creature away from his side. One of his eyes is twitching.]

Go. Back. [Each word is accompanied by a (GENTLE) poke from a piece of driftwood.] To. Jean.

[The Gible, named Maul, just looks overjoyed at the attention. Save Shiro from Landsharks 2k18...]



2) KITTY MEOW MEOW
[That same stretch of beach is later, suddenly, dominated by a hulk of metal. Something massive, standing at attention a few hundred yards from the house. The angle of its head implies it's staring at something closer to the house --]

[Which is an Aggron. A big metal dinosaur attempting to square off with a giant robot lion. Complete with stomping and roaring. Kuro does not like this. He does not like this suddenly appearing robot thing! It could be a Problem!!]

[His roaring doesn't faze the Lion. It... does attract his trainer. Barreling out of the house to help --]

[And then standing frozen in the sand for what feels like hours before stepping forward to reassure his Aggron. Anyone nearby probably witnesses a slow progression from pokemon to the foot of the robot. A silent march in pure awe.]

[The video cuts in to Shiro's face. Wearing... a helmet. His shoulders armored in black and white. And he looks like he's in the cockpit of something or other.]

[Pidge was still caught in the strange forest she'd accidentally wandered into but with the help of her Porygon and the Rotom she'd found herself with she'd managed to get a decent signal for her 'gear.

And, of course, Shiro's video was the first thing she saw.]

Shiro where are we? What is this place? I can't get a hold of anyone else and I'm stuck in some weird forest with some weird creatures--no offense Rover, Diode--and I can't find my lion!

[Someone is not pleased and this forest is starting to really, really freak her out.]

[It's one of those weekends. Thida knows it the moment she wakes up - her hair is tentacles again, her teeth feel right in her mouth, and - well isn't that interesting! Her Inkbrush and an ink tank are waiting for her at the foot of her bed. It's been a long time since she got to play around with her own sky blue ink, and oh boy, y'all ain't ready for this.

While she starts out in Cianwood City (and will likely end up back there when the weekend is over), Thida can be found in any town in Kanto or Johto during the course of this weekend, splattering ink in trails around streets and up buildings, shifting seamlessly to squid form to climb walls and reach vantage points where she can rain down inky destruction from above. The ink does fade after five minutes or so, but that initial splatter can't be comfortable. Want to try and catch an Inkling to berate her for her actions?]

[While this young lady does look like the Jane Crocker that Victory Road knows and loves, there is something off about her - she's carrying a Togepi in her arms, who seems very pleased that he gets to sleep there once again, and she looks...tired? Tired's a good word for it. But she's not grumpy at least, not at all. In fact, she seems somewhat resigned.]

Well...to end up here again isn't so bad. At least I know it can't last forever. Right, Sheldon?

Pidge stopped in her tracks as she finally heard the singing, her Porygon bumping into her back with a questioning noise.]

Manning it is a sleepy young man, yawning as he preps tiny pots of the best coffee you have ever smelled. There's a tiny range and various additives that the culturally savvy would pin down as being Turkish, though it doesn't seem like he knows that? This guy is moreso playing it by ear, as it were, and still this stuff seems like it's turning out amazingly. The little Wynaut perched on his shoulder just completes the image as the two speak softly to each other. If he happens to spot you, the young man will tiredly wave you over.]

Hey. Would you like some coffee? I found this setup...so I figured, why not make some?

[Ah. So. She's back in this place again.

It almost feels like Anthy never left - barely any time had passed at home, she was still looking for Utena, and yet here she is, back in Johto. But this time, Chuchu is with her, and he is decidedly not a Pokemon, you can tell that right off the bat - he's tiny, purple, a lot like an Aipom, but super attached to his mistress, and he "chu"s amiably at the Gardevoir that trails after them, her eyes watchful and vigilant. You'll likely find her blissfully unaware of the weirdness around her as Anthy visits her old haunts - a cafe in Goldenrod she liked to drink tea at, the National Park, those sorts of places - and wherever she goes, it seems that people who are nasty to others are being accosted by wild Pokemon. One woman shrieks in the background as a stampede of Donphan chase her down a street; another man is horrified to find first Shelmet, then Yungoos, then Octillery emerging from his picnic basket like they were clowns emerging from a tiny car.

All this happens around Anthy, and all she can do is sit with a quiet smile on her face.]

[Suddenly being somewhere new is- unfortunately familiar and has never ever proven to be a good thing. But there's a bunch of people all around, going about their business, there are still Pokémon here, and no one's telling her to kill anyone, so Penny has at least managed to not actively freak out on arrival.]

[Ever seen a really tiny dog going absolutely frothing apeshit and attacking something much, much bigger than itself? That's essentially what's happening, only instead of a dog it's a Riolu and the much larger thing is a giant skeletal monstrosity with literally smouldering red eyes.]

[The Riolu seems to be having more success than tiny raging dogs are usually met with, throwing itself recklessly at the Grimm but actually seeming to do a fair amount of damage.]

[Which is precisely zero comfort to Penny, dashing in after her Pokémon with a set of swords springing up out of the small pack on her back.]

And they have their own monsters, too; each of them now have a Swinub, and since Swinub are always looking for food, you may see three of them zooming towards you like small furry Roombas while three identical little girls chase after them.]

Flip, Salchow, Toeloop, get back here! [Yeah, since the triplets are named after figure skating jumps, it's only natural that their Pokemon would have a similar naming scheme.]

[Since the triplets are pretty good with technology despite their age, they're easily able to figure out how the Pokegear works. Axel (the one in purple) adjusts the camera for a moment before speaking.]

Hi! So, since there's an ice rink here, we thought we'd practice our jumps. [Because, being the figure skating-obsessed little gremlins they are, of course they'd be able to sniff out a skating rink. Lutz thinks she's able to do a double salchow now, so let's watch!

[The camera turns to the ice, where Lutz (the one in blue) readies herself for a jump. She skates a bit to pick up some momentum before she does the jump; she doesn't jump very high and her landing is wobbly, but she looks proud of herself when she lands it. The other two clap, and you can also hear a chorus of "Swine!"

Then Loop (the one in pink) appears in front of the camera.] So we already know that there's a hockey team here, but are there any figure skaters? If so, let us know!

Loki Laufeyson/Odinson | MCU (Post Thor Ragnarok/Pre Infinity War)

[Action - Ecruteak City]

[The last thing Loki remembered was being on the vessel they'd escaped Asgard on, talking to his brother on the main deck after their people had dispersed to settle in for the long trip ahead of them. Something had happened between that moment and waking because suddenly he was in a completely foreign place and alone.

Sans for the odd creatures he found himself in the company of, that is.

One was apparently something called a Zorua and seemed particularly pleased to be in Loki's company, the little fox creature shifting forms to show off it's abilities and the trickster God had to admit it was a rather fitting companion. The other was a creature called a Gengar, according to the device he'd found on his person, and seemed to have a fondness for causing trouble and getting up to no good in general. And the last of his companions was a large feline called a Luxray that was apparently an electric type creature.

Needless to say the irony of it wasn't lost on Loki.

With his companions in tow the trickster God, thankful that his own abilities seemed to be in tact, had started to explore this strange world and ended up in Ecruteak City. He was seated outside a cafe dressed in a well fitted black suit in an attempt to look less out of place, messing with his 'gear in an attempt to contact anyone he might know while his Pokemon--well, the Zorua and the Gengar that is--slunk about the other tables seeing what there was they could steal.

The Luxray stayed dutifully by Loki's chair, eyes lidded lazily as it purred softly in a content manner.]

[There's an almost apologetic look on Loki's face as he steps around and moves past the individual he'd almost run into, his grin a weak one as he nods over his shoulder.

A flock of very pissed off looking Murkrow are heading towards them as a Luxray attempts to fend them off with some well placed Thunder attacks.]

They apparently are not very fond of being tricked.

[Loki shrugs slightly as the Gengar and Zorua that dart past him giggle and snicker, the trickster turning to follow them.

He starts running, with his Skorupi beside him, and he gives Loki a slightly irritated look.]

I. Where am I and what is this thing?
Edward had had quite a night. Not only did he escape from Gluttony's stomach and met this "Father" asshole, but he had also spoken to Lieutenant Hawkeye about the events that had unfolded in Ishval during the extermination campaign. He had quite a lot to think about once he woke up.

Except that he didn't recognize the place he woke up in, not to mention that Alphonse was nowhere to be seen.

"What the hell-"

As he pushed himself up from...the sleeping bag?... He knew he had been sleeping in a hotel last night. ...a small, yellow creature fell off his head and cried out as it plopped to the ground. "PICHUUUUU!!!!"

The two stared at each other. Ed, having no idea what he was looking at, save for that it was clearly upset with him, and the Pichu pouting at him before turning his tail to him to dig in the backpack next to them for something to eat. Ignoring it for now, Ed kicked off the sleeping bag and pulled on his shoes before taking in his surroundings. He was next to some woods outside a town. The air had a strange, salty smell to it that he was unfamiliar with. Leaving the supplies on the ground, he approached it, the yellow mouse-like thing waddling behind him as it munched on a strange fruit.

The sign at the entrance to the town read Olivine City. Ed's brows furrowed. There was no such city in Amestris. He looked down as Pichu tugged on his pants, which he now realized were clearly not his, and cocked its head in puzzlement. "Pichu pi?" Ed nudged it away and went back to his 'camp,' only to find it being ransacked by giant rat.

"HEY!!"


II. Around Olivine City
Ed's going to be exploring the city, and it's possible to bump into him anywhere. He might be looking around the pier for something, or browsing through the PokeMart. No matter where you find him though, you'll also see his Pichu clinging to his shoulder and looking a little distressed.

"You shouldn't leave your stuff around, that's how wild Pokemon get into it." He would know, he just happened to be out here training when he noticed the commotion and found the Raticate rummaging through the camp site. It took a few seconds to sink in, that voice was very familiar, but if Ed was remotely alarmed he didn't show it.

"Very funny, Envy. We all know you can shift again if we're having one of those stupid weekends, what are you trying to pull?" The most he could probably do without long term repercussion was annoy some people and give Ed a bad reputation, that hardly seemed worth it.

[Ed will be found just about anywhere during the event, even if he's most likely to be rooted somewhere in Violet when not with his brother. Chances are good he can be spotted running an errand or wandering the area looking a little less than amused at whatever this is.]

What a great anniversary gift, this crap again. I knew it was close, but I guess it really has been a year...

[Could he be any more sarcastic? Probably, to be perfectly honest. He definitely doesn't look happy about his turn of events, not even a break from his inability to use alchemy seemed like much of a reprieve. He's walking with an Arcanine - some may recognize from the video feed earlier in the month - and Furfrou on either side of him, so any attempts to sneak up him on aren't likely going to go over too well.]

Roy Mustang | FMA: Riverview AU

Despite having been aware of other worlds and their tendency to apparently draw people into them, Roy found waking up in a different place than where he went to bed very jarring. It didn't help that he also appeared here with one of Edward's pets, the little fox creature he had named 'Roy.'

After taking some time to get better acquainted with the Vulpix, he headed out to see exactly where he had ended up. It was a bustling city, though still very much unlike both Riverview and Central. It seemed that many people had their own little (or not-so-little) creature with them. Roy the Vulpix was taking in the sights as well while hitching a ride on Roy the alchemist's back.

Thankfully, the people around here seemed to be friendly. He learned that he was in a city called "Goldenrod." That didn't help him much, but he would learn more the more he looked around. As he did look around, he though he spotted a familiar face. He must have gotten dragged here from Riverview as well.

"Hey, Fullmetal."

1. That's not food!

[Near any body of water large enough for fish, was a girl wearing a leotard? She's also got a spear in her hand. It was all for the same reason that she had waded out into the water... Probably.

For a while, she's silent, ignoring anyone who approaches. Then, she lunges, jabbing the water with the spearhead.

Only to jump back when a glowing point parries the blade. Then the rest of the Goldeen's head pops out of the water. There's a momentary smile on the girl's face. Before it fades into a scowl.]

... I see. You intend to fight for your life. May it be an honourable battle.

2. Finally, she understands.

[She had seen many things in her life. Lizardmen, demons, werewolves, half-dragons etc, etc. But the non-humans here were different. They didn't speak, even if they seemed to be able to understand. It was a good job Futayo understood actions more than words.

So she lies on her side on the woodland path in front of the Slakoth. Watching it slowly wave its arms to gesture around them. Then suddenly, Futayo jumps up, wandering a bit further into the woods. Then runs back out with an arm full of berries.

They get piled up in front of her new friend. Who slowly starts to eat, before waving again. At which, Futayo moves again to shove some berries in a random passerby's face.]

They said to share.

[Ash's instincts are telling him that approaching an armed girl is a terrible idea, but the risk of watching that Goldeen get seriously injured forces him to do so anyway.]

[There's a pokemon battle underway, or at least there should be as a wild Rattata is leaping forward to attack an unaware Espurr. At least they are until the Rattata is suddenly floating in the air by a purple/blue bubble.]

[There's a woman with her arm held in the air. The arm has glowing tattoos running down it. She's missing her guns but there seems to be a book strapped to her side, for some reason.]

[Okay so it's like an Echo recorder but with a network feature. Maya will turn it on and make a call out.]

I'm looking for vault hunters. If anyone knows what that means, message me back. I'm not sure what sort of world this is but there's a distinct lack of psychos and guns so it's clearly not Pandora.

[Making the Enterprise sky-worthy took longer than he'd remembered or expected, but now that he's done and flying he doesn't regret a single second of it. It's been so long since he last piloted an airship, since he last felt the deck beneath his feet...

By the time other people find themselves on the deck, he's all smiles and friendly greetings.]

Astonishing news, dear listeners. Once again, Doctor Strange has managed to perform some sort of sick experiment on me. I'm guessing acid in the mashed seaweed. Because, let me tell you. What I'm seeing is one hundred percent not possible on the Hephaestus.

You remember the time I spent hours talking to you about Pokemon? Yeah, well now we're living it baby. And your boy Douggy Doug? Strapped with a Magikarp.

Hilbert, I'm sure you're watching me talk to what I can only assume is a wall that the drugs are making me think is a tree. So let me say from the bottom of my heart. This. Is not. Cool!

ii. Video

[The video starts out blurry, while the slightly greasy looking man in front of it fiddles with something. He leans back, coming into focus with a bright smile and a wave.]

Pretty cool, right? I mean, probably just me talking to a rock that I'm pretending has a video function, but for all intents and purposes, we're going to assume this is real. Because why wouldn't it be? I talk to aliens one day, and now I'm on my own weird poke-venture. Man, people back home would be so jealous. [His grin falters slightly.] Anyway. Not exactly sure where I am. New Bark Town wasn't exactly a location in Blue but, hey.. what can you do, right?

Anyway, whole point is, whatever's happening right now, it's giving you Doug-o-vision, which is an absolute treat, if I do say so. So stick around, while Dougthy follows this yellow brick road back to Kansas.

iii. Action

[Doug makes it approximately a mile into the woods before trouble strikes. How he managed to avoid a wild pokemon before then, god only knew. It was probably the same reason why he'd managed to avoid dying in space on at least 3 different occasions.

Sheer luck.

That luck, however, had finally run out. A pidgey bursts out of the underbrush, and immediately flies into a fighting stance. Doug... stares. He can hear the music change -- why was there music, how was that happening -- but the fact that he's in battle doesn't really occur to him until -- ]

Ow, ow! Ow! [The bird flies forward and pecks at his head. He flails frantically, long enough to dislodge the ball at his belt. It falls to the ground and with a brilliant burst of light --

the magikarp flops out and splashes once.]

Oh. Crap. [Maybe he was going to say more but... well. There's a bird caught in his hair now.

Someone help him?]

[The device she has, is similar to the magic picture back home in Oz it seems. Or at least some what similar and a bit more difficult to use. But with determination, Dorthy manages to get it to work. Which is when she hears her name being mentioned. Oh dear, the fellow is dreadfully mistaken.]

I've been back to Kansas actually. My aunt and uncle and I live in Oz now.

1) Magic practise in a clearing somewhere

[Now that she's got her magic back, Hermione isn't wasting time and is practising all her spells. She's already worried she's falling behind in class, having been here for six months already.

She's practising a wide range of spells, including Lumos, Knox, Expelliarmis, Diffindo, Wingardium Leviosa, and various other charms and jinxes from her first three years of study. Her pokemon are around her, watching curiously but staying clear of the spells.]


2) Practising a patronus

[There are a pile of books nearby - all open to references about the Patronus Charm. Hermione is alternating between sitting and poring over them, or standing a few feet away practising the spell movement with her wand and repeating 'Expecto Patronum', but with little success. Occasionally she can get a little mist appear but that's it so far. You can tell she's getting frustrated.]


3) Dementor attack!

[It's Hermione's worst fear - Dementors have started appearing all around Johto and she's only barely managed to get her Patronus Charm to work. She doesn't understand why they're here or why they're attacking - they shouldn't even be going for innocent people!

The air turns chilly as a Dementor swoops at her, forcing her to dive and roll to avoid it. She was almost too late - frozen in place for a moment as fear overwhelms her before a jolt from Maratus snaps her out of it. All of her pokemon are firing various attacks at it to varied degrees of success to keep it at bay.]
