12th Match // [video/action] Lake of Rage
[It's a toasty, sunny day - perfect for an outing to the Lake of Rage.
Somebody is streaming a Darumaka. The little guy is sitting quietly in the shade of the great trees lining the lakeshore, peacefully going to town with their special Scavenger Hunt passport and stickers. It's carefully peeling the stickers off the sheet, one by one, and placing them just as carefully in the open pages of the passport on the ground in front of it.
It doesn't take very long for the open pages of the passport to be filled. Once the last sticker is in place, the Darumaka sets the empty sticker sheet to one side and picks up the passport. Then, like a small child presenting a crayon masterpiece to a parent, it flips the booklet around to show the results of its hard work to the camera. The booklet is upside down, and the little one-eyed face peeking over it is serious and endearing.]
It's good! You wanna go again?
[That question earns an enthusiastic squeak and some happy wiggles from the Darumaka, who then dramatically closes the booklet and puts it back on the ground in front of it. After settling down again, it reaches out and reopens it, and the pages that were just moments ago filled with stickers are now nearly blank! Only one sticker remains, beside the Mahogany Town entry. The Darumaka seems to have expected this, though, and reaches quite contentedly for the sticker sheet it had just set aside. The sheet is now full - save for one sticker - and the little 'Mon again begins the process of carefully selecting, peeling, and placing the stickers one by one into the awaiting pages.
This process repeats many times over a few hours before the stream ends.]

But it's good for the Zen Doll.
[Audio]
[Jane hums softly, and there's the flip-flip of Jane paging through her own booklet.]
This really is a clever quest setup, isn't it? I wonder if it'll stay...magic, or whatever, once it's over.
[Audio]
[Seriously. If you cheat, then what even is the point?]
I guess we'll find out when it's over.
[Audio]
[Also Jane would not want to cheat on a fun activity.]
So, you said your little friend is a Zen Doll? I haven't seen a Pokemon like him before. What is he like?

How does it do that?
Video
Dunno! Got it from the Space Cat.
[Is Nephelis some kind of space cat? Well, it is now.]
Monster powers, probably.
[Krieg doesn't question these things. They just are.]
Video
[She's going to have to try that.]
....the thing that gave us these is a space cat?
Video
Video
[Monster exist in space. That cat part is weird.]
The snack was good. ...what's a side-quest? Does that mean scavenger hunt?

[Obviously.]
How's it going, Blondie?
Video;
[Armin has actually had to work really hard to keep her for sticking the stickers all over her own body. In the end, a compromise had been made where Farida gets to be the one to put the stickers into the booklet whenever they find someone.]
We're doing good. It's been nice to visit Kanto again.
Video;
[Somehow this kind of thing seems like it'd be right up Armin's alley.]
Video;
[What is a lot, really? Armin definitely wants to try his best at this, but he also doesn't want to rush things. He wants to enjoy travelling too.
There is some racket at his elbow, and he glances away from the camera, trying to calm it before he gives in.]
All right, all right.
[Armin makes room and a Totodile pops into the frame. Her snout is oddly thin and elongated, but enough about that. look at this. She proudly holds up Armin's scavenging booklet, displaying the five lined up stickers. Do you like them? Haven't they been perfectly put into place? Of course, they have been because Farida took care of that. Perfection is the very least she aims for!]
This is how far we've progressed so far. With so many warp pads available to us in Kanto, getting around has been pretty easy.

Looks like you're keeping busy out there.

[And you know what? Being lazy is kind of nice.]
Video;
But it's good to hear from you, either way.
Video;
You been doing okay?
Video;
Me? I'm fine.

[It's ya boy, Jean, and he's holding up a Darumaka of his own, one that's much more active than Dolly. This one is squirming and squeaking and very clearly ready to go on one of the active rampages his kind are so known for.]
I have one too!
[video]
It looks badass! Where'd you find it?
[video]
[The Darumaka finally squirms out of Jean's hands and starts bouncing around like a high-powered pinball.]
His name is Archibald Nigel Hot Shit Kirschtein.
[video]
[Oh man, oh man. Krieg's going to be laughing for a while at that name. What a good name, seriously.]
Did Blondie help you name it?
[video]
Yeah. Armin named him when he caught him, because he said 'you give them very silly names, Jean.'
[Yes, he absolutely did Armin's voice there.]
What he didn't count on what Archie here liking having a long name, and wanting to be called by the whole thing. So when I added the Hot Shit part, he liked it, and now whenever I call him, I have to say the whole name or he ignores me.
