I didn't really get a look at it, but I'd guess it's a Tentacruel. I've got one of those, they have like almost a hundred tentacles all up in them. And they can make their tentacles bigger by filling them with water.

...so it's your roommate's? Right?

Because a random bathroom is not their natural habitat.
