Who: Sasha and Alex
Where: Starting in Goldenrod and then traveling up to Blackthorn
When: The entire summer
Summary: Scavenger hunt!
Rating: G
[Goldenrod was the best choice of "meet me halfway" that Sasha and Alex could decide on. Still, it took a few days from when they spoke to actually meeting up in person because while Sasha could just hope in a teleporter, Alex actually has to walk from point A to point B. Luckily, Sasha's a pretty patient person and spends a full day exploring Goldenrod all over again, buying enough supplies to last her and Alex a fair number of months and even taking in a baseball game. She's not sure what the point of hitting a ball with a stick and then running away is, but at least the hot dogs and popcorn are tasty.
Whenever Alex gets into town, she can find Sasha on a bench outside the department store, tossing whole Pokepuff towards her Arcanine, watching him expertly catch each one in his gaping maw with a laugh.]

Goldenrod!
[Alex waves the moment she sees the girl throwing things at a pokemon. Alex is currently being trailed by a Taillow, flying after her, as she runs over.]
I just teleported over from Ecruteak. Those things are super useful.

[Sasha pops up from her seat like a Jack in the Box, and waves before recalling Barbecue back into his ball. Feeding time for him is over, but it's just beginning for Tuna the Meowth who is let in turn.]
Yeah, I wish we had them back home. But I heard if you do too many of them at once, you'll barf.
[Sasha hasn't tested that theory yet, but she is sorely tempted, just for the giggles.]

Speaking of, once we get to Blackthorn, I'll have all the ones in Johto unlocked.

[Looking on the bright side, this one. No matter what, it could always be worse.]
That's good! Then it'll be easier for you to continue hunting if you want to. [Sasha definitely wants to, only because this is her forte. Something she feels confident in having the skills to succeed in, unlike battling which she still hasn't tried.] Are you ready to go?
[If Alex isn't, Tuna is as he seems to be entranced by something in the distance. He's just staring for the moment, not paying attention to the berry Sasha's holding out to him.]

[Alex grins.]
Oh I totally want to.
[Alex meanwhile, just really misses scavenger hunts that aren't ones with the same information she'd already found probably over 20 times at this point but doesn't remember.]
And yup. I'm ready!

[Turning back to her Pokemon, Sasha shakes the berry in front of his face.]
Tuna? Tunaaaa. Tuna, you have to eat so you can go back into your ball!
[But the Meowth isn't paying a bit of attention to his trainer. In fact, he begins walking away from her. It's actually more of a wandering like pace, like he's being draw away from Sasha, but she can't see anybody luring him away.
And then he breaks out into a full-on run.]
Tuna! Hey Tuna! Come back!
This is not good. Not good at all.

[Luckily Clarissa the pokemon is quick. So Alex doesn't have to pull her back into the ball.]
We'd better chase them down before they get out of sight.
