Summer is well underway, and Viridian City is bustling.

Particularly so, at the moment. A number of traveling groups are all converged on the city at the moment, entirely by happenstance.

Lust has been in the city for a bit of time now, enjoying the library and the forested scenery and leisurely training her newer Pokemon. She plans on taking on the Pewter Gym, when they finally rouse themselves to move on. And with Envy and Heather in town, as well as Boone and his companion arriving...all the more reason to stay.

There's certainly more than enough to do in the city, between the library and the battle clubs and the city's enthusiasm with sports. The library enough would be enough to hold Lust's attention...

Which is why she can often be found there, when not training or relaxing in one of the verdant, shady parks in the city.

Hmm, mostly my big guns. [Lucky lifts his head from the mostly destroyed stick to bark once. He's a big gun!]

But I did bring Surprise in case I got jumped by some ten year olds, he's not that high. In the 20s I think.

As I assumed, considering the challenge you're undertaking. But that should work well, I've a recent catch that's just in the 20s. And...he certainly needs training.

[There's a shift in Lust's tone at that last bit. And an almost shifting of her eyes to the side, as though mildly embarrassed of something.]

And god knows we haven't trained together in ages.

[He catches that shifty look, because of course he does, he knows her expressions well. Which of course, makes him very curious to find out what it is about this Pokemon that would be embarrassing.]

We sure haven't...and hey, with you taking on the badges, maybe soon enough we will be able to have training matches with my main team.

So what's up with your new capture, hm?

[AND OF COURSE HE'S GOING TO MENTION IT, as he unclips the Pokeball from his own belt and hits the release button. It's Lust, he doesn't need to be dramatic about it like he would with a stranger. The beam of energy materializes into a bright green Masquerain, who immediately begins flitting between the two of them curiously.]

I'm coming close to a hundred on some of them, now. Guttle and Amoz are nearly there.

[At the question regarding her newest addition...]

Mmm.

[Lust doesn't say anything more, Envy's about to see for himself.]

[She releases the appropriate ball and tosses it gently to release Midas, the shiny Chikorita. Who promptly bounds over to Envy and begins bouncing eagerly at his feet. And pawing at his legs like an excited puppy.]

No, Midas, no. We're battling now. Come here. Come...stop...Envy doesn't want to pick you up right now...
