[Wow, it's 11pm now. Guess someone's not into night vlogging right this moment. The Emolga from last time is on his head again, but this time it's awake and playing with his hair.]

So, tomorrow I'll be going to challenge Brock. I... Don't have the best roster for it (lots of flyers), but I'm confident enough in my plan.

[He then raises his eyebrows quickly and looks up with his eyes at the same to point at Emolga.]

Obviously, she's not going to be part of the battle. Anyway, wish me luck, guys.

Good luck. Will you be taking on his Regular team or his Elite team?

[Armin beat the Regular team himself so he might have some Tips and Tricks.]

I took on his regular team as well. There is no shame in that, and at least, you'll only have to deal with three opponents.

Will this be your first gym?

If you are heading to Cerulean City via Mt Moon, there will be plenty of chances to catch pokemon, at least. And, at the very least, your Emolga should put up a good fight against Misty.

Can I ask which pokemon you'll be bringing to the gym with you?

Both Rhyhorn and Onix are incredibly weak to water, so if you can get off any water attacks against them, you might just take them down very easily.

Have you had a chance to teach your Ducklett Surf yet? That's what I had my Dewpider use to take them down and it worked great.

I have a copy of the HM I wouldn't mind lending to you. Obviously, you wouldn't be able to use the move out of battle until you have the appropriate badge, but it should work during gym battles just fine.

No problem. The offer remains open. I ended up owning that HM twice, so I can lend it out at any time.

It makes sense that your Emolga wouldn't participate, but is she happy with that decision? The smaller ones can be particularly prideful.

...That might be her only chance to shine in Kanto, even, unless she learns a lot of Flying-type moves. Johto's Gyms would be a bit kinder to her, type-wise.

U-Turn's a bug-type move, right? That's a very interesting addition to her moveset, if an unexpected one. Too bad there's no Dark-type Gym out there to give her more opportunities to use it.

Emolgas are relativey fast, right? Getting to hit opponents but avoiding their counterattacks does sound nice. It'd be even better if you could choose whether or not to call her back, but I guess that'd make the move way too powerful.

So that's complete domination over Misty, decent damage against Sabrina and Lucky her.

Which ones are you using? Maybe you can work out a strategy beforehand with someone.

That sounds like a solid plan. Good work.

I'd just be careful in case Golem knows any steel type moves -- I don't know if it does or not, but that's hard to handle with something like Sylveon.

It... looks like unless it's level 60, it might not know any. Or unless it's used some training machines?

Hopefully.

Good luck in the Gym. Hope everything goes well for you and your team.

Even if you don't have the perfect roster for it, trust me when I say you can make anything work if you go about it the right way.

[Says the guy that took on a gym with a team of Gyarados.]

I'm sure you and you're Pokemon will do great.

That's the important part--that you're happy with it.

I hope you guys make quick work of Brock!
