It would seem I've been derailed from my original journey to a new world, landing here instead. My name is Hope Estheim, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could let me know if others who were with me are here as well.

That being said, I was made aware of a Met-...sorry, I mean, Minior shower and are best seen at the observatory on Sevii Islands. If I can make it, even for a little bit, I would like that very much. I understand it is in the Kanto region but I'm unsure what the best and fastest way to travel once I take the ferry from here.

If you could kindly give me directions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

[He sounds like he's addressing a large crowd, making some sort of speech. Something he has done in the past when he actually looked his age, so it may sound odd now coming from a child. He's also probably unintentionally making a sad puppy face. But Hope is making due with the lemons given to him.]

[Noct's expression softens some with understanding.]

There's a lot to do here so you'll find something, don't worry about that. Pretty much anything you could possibly be interested in you can find something that caters to it in this place. And there's just a lot to explore.

[And man if that next bit doesn't hit a few things with him as well. Noct's steps slow and the Pokemon behind him stops when he does, Kitty the Tryannitar leaning down to peer at the 'gear and her trainer in confusion as the prince looks thoughtful.]

...It's not easy but the best advice I can give on that is to just not let yourself get weighed down. Let yourself take steps forward and try new things because otherwise you're just going to let everything else consume you and trust me when I say that doesn't end well for anyone. The Pokemon partner you woke up with is a good starting point. They'll help you find your footing and get settled in the world. Don't be afraid to take a chance or two.

[Minccino is pretty interested in that Tyrannitar's face, practically climb over Hope's face to look at the 'gear. Hope grunts and gently plucks her from his face and back onto his head.]

Taking a chance isn't what I'm afraid of.

[It was a little, but not his main concern. Still, the guy's advice was sound and he nods.]

It's doing it without my friends. Without my family. A lot of complicated and complex things happened where I was, I'm not actually the age I appear to be, but we were supposed to be together again. Together and normal.

It just feels like I won't ever reach the end of this journey.

[Something flickers across Noct's expression and he glances down as Hope speaks, fiddling with something on his free hand as the Tyrannitar behind him forgets about the two on the screen in favor of her trainer. She rumbles softly and bumps her snout to his head, nuzzling at him and prompting him to reach up and pet her with the hand he'd been fiddling with. The one with the fancy black ring on it.]

I was here before and returned home pretty recently I guess. It's been about three months in between when I was last here and when I woke back up in this place and a lot happened back home while I was there. I thought we were nearing the end of the war we were in the middle of and..a part of me knew it was probably too much to hope for but...I just wanted it all to end. I ended up losing someone else I cared about, one of my friends was hurt pretty bad..and I managed to find him and my two other friends again only to have to leave them behind again.

[Noct scratches under Kitty's chin as he looks at his 'gear again, giving the other young man a weak grin.]

Fate can be a real pain in the ass when it comes to letting us have normal. But you'll get to the end of it all eventually. Just hang in there, okay?

[The circumstances might be different but it seemed this guy Gets It. He nods and swallows a bit thickly, looking away momentarily.]

[Which he doubts will be familiar to Hope since the other young man's name wasn't familiar to him but hey at least they've exchanged names properly.

Little do they know the strange connections between their worlds.]
