It would seem I've been derailed from my original journey to a new world, landing here instead. My name is Hope Estheim, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could let me know if others who were with me are here as well.

That being said, I was made aware of a Met-...sorry, I mean, Minior shower and are best seen at the observatory on Sevii Islands. If I can make it, even for a little bit, I would like that very much. I understand it is in the Kanto region but I'm unsure what the best and fastest way to travel once I take the ferry from here.

If you could kindly give me directions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

[He sounds like he's addressing a large crowd, making some sort of speech. Something he has done in the past when he actually looked his age, so it may sound odd now coming from a child. But for wherever it was you were going before, you should know that you're okay here, and time should stop at home. So, once you leave this place, you'll be back on track, and it will be like you were never gone, so don't worry too much about it. As for the Sevii Islands, I think that ferry leaves from Vermillion City?

I see. I suppose that's good to hear. I would rather not be left out of joining the others to the new world. I can't exactly go back, only forward.

[And, if it came down to it, if he was here for years like some of the others, then he supposed he could take this as his new world. He just wasn't sure he could handle being by himself for so long, but everyone here so far as been very nice. And they, too, have been in the same situation as him. He can't think selfishly like this.]

That's good to know, although I got that impression while talking to him. It's hard to believe someone has been here for as long as he has. Makes me wonder, I guess.

Well, he's not the only one - I think we've got a fair handful of folks who've been here for quite a stretch. And it does certainly make you wonder, indeed.

How does someone just... decide to settle then? On one hand, there's not much else you can do but then... there's always that chance you go back home again and leave people here behind.

Especially if you've been here long enough to start a new life.

Well of course there's that chance, but...when you don't have much of a choice, it's better than doing nothing and getting worked up over always moving, or never really feeling at home. That's...that's usually a worse feeling, I think.
