That being said, I was made aware of a Met-...sorry, I mean, Minior shower and are best seen at the observatory on Sevii Islands. If I can make it, even for a little bit, I would like that very much. I understand it is in the Kanto region but I'm unsure what the best and fastest way to travel once I take the ferry from here.

If you could kindly give me directions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Noted, thank you. I think I will have to check out the warp pads or the Pokemon to ride and fly on. Although the science behind it all is beyond me and sometimes I wish I got more into it than archaeology and history.

Do they even have schools here? Or is every child destined to go on this journey at around my age?

Yeah, I was told when I first got here to try not to think too much about the science behind whatever's going on here- but like. That's... I can't do that! Weird xenoscience shit is like, my life, man, I can't just look at a bunch of weird new animals and stuff like teleportation and not wanna figure out how it ticks, you know? But it's slow going. No one will even give me a straight answer on how Pokemon anatomy is set up, and I kinda get the feeling that no one knows? But that's. Not possible? Oh, dude. The only schools are apparently just "trainer schools" and I don't think they're even mandatory. It's a mess. I've talked with some of the kids around here about maybe helping tutor them in a few subjects, just because, really, they need to actually have some education besides "this animal will beat this animal in a fight".

Not thinking about scientist when you're a scientist is a lot like myself and not being able to wonder how the history of a place I've been to.

[Well, that was just heartbreaking. Although if there were researchers talking about minior showers and such, there had to be some sort of higher education, at least, right?]

Perhaps you decide your specialty and then your path is much clearer, rather than getting a general education and figuring it out as you go along. [He shook his head with a sigh.] Still, it seems incredibly lenient to not have some sort of schooling for those who are not to be trainers.
