o17 | video/text featuring Gardevoir
[It's around two o'clock in the morning when the video flickers to life inside FCAB, at least according to the digital clock hanging up in the background. It might be normal for people who are nightowls but instead of a human face peering into the camera, it's a Gardevoir with her bangs pushed away from her face with a little headscarf.
She's a bit of an odd duck herself, what with having three eyes but regardless of her own oddities, she looks.. Focused. And concerned as she starts to type.]
Hello, I don't believe we've met yet. My name is Juno, and while I try to respect my trainer's belongings, something happened and I'm not entirely sure what to do about it. He's been having some bad dreams since he returned from wherever it was he vanished and while they've been getting better thanks to the sweet boy he's been traveling with, I'm still very... worried about him.
He had a rather terrible one not too long ago so I thought I'd check in on him tonight, but I think he's|
It's a little awkward to explain, so I thought it'd be best to come to his friends and other people who may know him - or those who would know what to do - for advice. One moment, please.
[As she taps at the keys of the Pokegear, she swivels around to cautiously float towards what can only be Bertolt's room and after some hesitation, the Gardevoir nudges the door open and turns the camera to show her trainer in a very uncomfortable pose. Seriously, that's going to cause some serious neck pain in the morning, and the Gardevoir can be seen wincing slightly just on the edge of the recording before she turns back around to type again.]
I think he may be broken? How can I fix this? I've never seen him - or any human - like that before. I hope he won't be upset that I borrowed his communicator to ask.
[Psh, like Bertolt could ever get mad at any of his Pokemon, especially for something as harmless as this. Still, this Gardevoir fusses and worries!
She seems to hesitate, and then begins to to type something else until a loud snore erupts from the room behind her, causing her to jump and finish typing as quickly as she can with a frazzled expression.]
ThankyouinadvanceIhavetogo!
[And with that, she kills the feed.]

[ Probably, but Bertolt. Seriously. ]

What if he can't go back to sleep if I wake him? He's had nights where he won't sleep, and then he sleeps almost the entire day away.

Anyway, his neck will thank you. Unless you want to offer a shoulder and neck massage in the morning.
[ If she can even do that. Annie has no idea: she's writing, what else can she do? ]

This isn't what she expected at all. Thank goodness for text, because she is giving the communicator this Look. Poor Juno isn't sure what to think of this.]

Don't slap him and don't put him in a cold shower. I can confirm those are terrible ways to wake someone up.
Also don't pour a glass of water on his head.
Text
I would never!
[If it weren't over text she may even seem indignant! But she is giving the communicator a slightly surprised look even though no one can see it. Were people really that mean to each other?]
I'd like to avoid waking him up if at all possible! I've just never seen him looking like that before! Humans don't normally do this, do they? Is he broken?
Text
Considering it's Fuck A.M. Poke Standard Time I'd assume that he just fell asleep while he was relaxing in an odd position.
[Luckily he was up reading because he couldn't sleep. If... one is lucky in seeing an emergency "odd sleeping position" broadcast.] If he's breathing then I wouldn't worry until the morning.

[Venus the Vulpix has claimed her Trainer's gear for a few moments.]
As to his... positioning, I have seen my trainer, and especially my trainer's sibling contort themselves into similar positions without any true lasting harm. Humans are... strangely bendy.

[He's been pretty secretive since he came back, but she hasn't tried to ask. It's bad enough he had a haunted look to his eyes for the first few days of his return, and that alone had left her concerned.
If he wants something done about it, he'd have to ask her himself. Juno refuses to overstep her boundaries with a potentially sensitive subject.]
He's never looked to be the flexible type, so that's another cause for concern. He's rather|
Well.
He's large. He's over a foot taller than I am and he seems to look rather sturdily built compared to his friend. I'd expect flexibility from him rather than my trainer.

I don't think he's broken, exactly...more like he's just the type who ends up in weird positions when he sleeps. It depends on the person. Some humans will stay in the same place when they sleep, but others will move around a lot.

[Okay, text just doesn't work when you have flippers. Thankfully, the record button is pretty big and Honky Tonk manages to press it without destroying the PokeGear. Say hello to a very well primped Primarina!]
Goodness gracious, is he alive? It looks like something threw him against that wall!
no subject
He was snoring, so I believe so. I don't think anything threw him either - I've been awake since he and his friend went to bed and I didn't hear anything.
[Only snoring! Boys sure do like to snore a lot.]
