I've a question for those of you who battle seriously, and take on the Gym challenges.
[Lust is relaxing in a quaint little cafe in Pewter, an Ekans partially draped over her shoulders.]
How do you determine your team compositions? Which types do you put together, what do you consider the most 'well rounded' sort of teams? Which specific Pokemon do you consider essential to any serious trainer starting their tour of the Gyms?
And if you've a theme to your own teams...how did you choose it?

I need to get my hands on a decent grass type and I think I saw that there are some electric types available in the forest as well which would be useful to have.

What levels are you at now?

My current team ranges from level ten to level fifteen. I plan to spend at least a week going through the forest and then I'll have to travel the rest of the way to Pewter so I hope to do so thoroughly training between now and then.

Ah. Yes, you'll want to train a great deal, you're at about half the levels of Pewter. But you'll have time with the journey.

I plan to. Between the forest and the path from here to Pewter itself I should have plenty of time to train and prepare my team. I might try and pick up a couple of new Pokemon as well.

I recommend it, there's some interesting Pokemon along that Route. I found myself with a handful.

I'm hoping to find myself a good Electric Pokemon while I'm there. I was told there's quite a few available there along with Bug and Grass.

You should be able to find those. I encountered mostly bug and grass myself - both of which I needed.

I need one of each myself. I'm still new enough that my team is lacking a lot of the different types.
