[This will be video log number the second, the way she organizes them has been decided on a whim. Binary. But she thought, as she and Rick make their way through routes thirty and thirty-one, that she might make another log. It's been awhile since she's done so. Roxy decided to make it while she thought that Rick was asleep, since both of them being awake would lead to some kind of rambling conversation that leaped from topic to topic, and or shenanigans the likes of which she had once upon a time thought only she and her friends had ever been able to get into.

Then again there were a lot more people around, as she had to remind herself less and less recently. The shopping spree she'd done had done well to introduce her to not only the people she could meet, but the way that money actually works. Because as soon as she'd gotten said money, she'd spent near all of it. Visible evidence of this could be seen in the candy bar she placed to the side, and the pink colored scarf that she had wrapped around her neck. It wasn't like her purple one that she'd had before, but it would do.]

Hi, so, this isn't really for any questions, I don't think.

[A small growlithe crawled and wriggled his way into her lap as she made her sort of opening introduction.]

It's more just to say hi, and to introduce Flash Point to the wider world, and to... Ford yeah sorry a little tired. Also, to strike up a conversation if anyone wants to. Can't sleep myself right now see like we're sticking to this spot for a rest and Rick just kinda, conked out so I'm bored.

[Shoto himself had been having trouble sleeping, mostly because of the endless music but also, in part, because he couldn't shake how unnerved he was by this place.

So he's up when Roxy posts to the network, settled against a tree with Mr. A the Poochyena and Polar the Alolan Vulpix sprawled on his lap and a little Fletchling nestled down on his shoulder.]

Conversation about what?

[Sorry, Roxy, this isn't his strong suit but he figured he'd try.]

[Hey it's fine. Roxy could possibly hold a conversation for the both of them if she felt so inclined. Her growlithe poked his nose closer to the camera as the other video played, before she started up a new one and his head tilted to the side in confusion, or maybe curiosity.]

Whatever you want, honestly I keep on wondering if anyone is gonna even wanna talk to me, wait no, scratch that, but I don't really know, I didn't think much beyond sending the first vid out. Is there anything you wanna ask or know about or oh, what kind of vulpix is that? I didn't know there could be white ones, but I think Rick has one now actually but they're an egg at the moment so oooo she looks gorgeous... Wait, the lil vulpix is a she right?

[Sometime during her mini ramble, her shinx wandered over to her side and laid down again, her espurr found her way into her lap with her growlithe, and her hoothoot descended onto her head to nest there yet again, making her hand slip and both end and send the video clip.]

[Okay she talks a lot. More than enough for both of them. Shoto tries to say something a couple of different times before he ends up just waiting for an actual pause in her words.

The rambling gets the attention of the Vulpix in question and Polar lifts his head, blinking blearily at the 'gear Shoto has propped on his knee.]

No, he's a boy. I believe he's a variant of the normal Vulpix. The others are Fire types and he's an Ice type.

[With his free hand he scratches the fox's ears, earning a happy chirp from the Pokemon.]

What kind of Pokemon is that? [He means the Growlithe.] Some sort of..lion? Or tiger?

[Oh. Shit. She must correct this oversight.]

Whoops, sorry Vulpy. But being an ice type is totes amazin please forgive me lil ice fox. And this here, [She gestures to the growlithe in her lap.] is Flash Point. He's a growlithe, kinda like this fire dog that's a little like a tiger, and he's the absolute best lil fire dog a gal could ask for.

[Polar blinks then yawns, the sounding turning into a chirp at the end. It's okay human. He's not offended.]

A Growlithe. [A fire dog. Okay, you've got his attention.] Was he your starter?

Nah, I got him as an egg.

[Roxy pointed to the shinx here.] This is Neon, she's a shinx and she's my starter.

Hello Neon.

[Polar chirped a greeting as well.]

That's an Electric type isn't it?

[Yeah, you're right on that front. The people who weren't from other worlds at one point were only so helpful in her quest to learn all the things and find something to do besides breeding the pokemon and the occasional gym battle. And also keep one Rick Sanchez from getting thrown in jail for all the antics he gets up to. Seriously.

She smiled in response to the compliment and kept it there for the first few moments of her reply.]

Thank you, it's only of my fav colors too. My name's Roxy by the way. Whooops. Should probs introduce myself at the start of these vids until people be like yes yes we know who you are whadduyou want? Is your hair naturally blue?

[Because her hair isn't, just blonde, though she might try out the dying thing and dye a piece of it in her friends and familys colors or something sentimental and inspirational like that.]

Oh don't worry about that, I know it's tedious to start off every broadcast with "Hi my name is." I'm Botan, and I don't exactly have a special designation besides "local ghost expert" and "Pokemon breeder."

[And that's funny to her for some reason because it reminds her of pompous types being like "oh yes poppycock sir balderdash."]

Gosh, I haven't been asked about my hair color in a while. [Y'know because there are quite a few oddly-colored hair folks about.] Yes, it is! Makes it hard to coordinate outfit colors sometimes, but this is my natural hair color.

[Well. Yes she had seen some odd hair colors about, but Roxy had thought it to be something of the local population here, and had yet to consider that other universes might follow the trend. Well, she could get money in the next town she comes to and go find hair dye or some stylist who could help her out with that.]

Yeah, it would get tedious. A little boring too, I think. And, I honestly wish my own universe had won the hair color wheel lottery but I guess that's what dying your hair was for. Anyyyyyway. Why do they call you the local ghost expert? Is it because of a ghost pokemon thing?

[Shifting gears so fast Roxy almost gave herself mental whiplash.]

I ended up with a few of them, and I'm good with communicating with the little buggers.

["A few" like she doesn't have a Sableye sitting next to her right then just. Munching on rock candy.]

I've also done some favors for folks around town clearing out any particularly troublesome ones, it's really quite silly in the end.

[Roxy shrugged a little at that, a smile forming on her face.]

Well, maybe that silly thing people thought was good enough to warrant some sorta title.

[Hey, what's that pokemon?]

What's that pokemon that's with you? It looks cool.

[Roxy, no, if you get every single pokemon you think looks cool or cute you'd never be able to handle having them all and exceed your limit.]

Hear that, Kei? Someone thinks your pudgness looks cool.

[The Sableye pauses in its munching, visibly turning its head from her to Roxy. Confusion can somehow be read on the expression though it has no eyebrows and gem eyes.]

He's a Sableye! They're Ghost/Dark types, cheeky little imps that like to hide in caves and eat gems. Mine decided he likes rock candy better, though, so that's where he ended up.

[He is perfectly content with that, and in truth Botan thinks his extra pudge is cute.]
