[The video turns on the reveal a glowing egg smack in the middle of Viridian. It's at an angle that indicates the user is on the ground, not that it seems to matter because once the egg finishes it's glow, it reveals an Onix.

[And that long, nearly 30ft rock snake was leaning in to the camera and Hope. Hello, world! It rumbles a bit and then quite suddenly, Hope is dropping the 'Gear is the massive rock head is snuggling him and, now seen from the ground, lifting him right into the air! Hope clings a bit to the ridge on top while Minccino is yelling at it to clearly put their trainer down!]

O-Onix, please! I don't think now is the time for this!

[Someone help Hope get down from the affectionate Onix? Its tail is rubbing at Hope's back, yup, very affectionate. Also, ow, that kind of hurt.]

Look at how much it loves you!!!

[Mabel is gushing--SO MUCH GUSHING--because this is the cutest thing ever and she is so happy that one of Diamond's babies is in a good home!!

Speaking of Diamond--

The little girl's Onix leans into view and let's out a happy rumble, practically blocking Mabel from view as she croons at the 'gear. Who's a gorgeous baby? You are!!]

[Hope can vaguely hear Mabel from such a high place, but he can't do much about it. However, the Onix hears its mother and its going right back to the ground to stare at the 'Gear.

Hope takes the opportunity to slide off and stumble onto his butt on the ground, sighing in relief. He knew Onix were supposed to be big, but he vastly underestimated just by how much! The two Onixes were crooning at each other now and Hope had to admit, it was adorable.]

Mabel, is Onix going to keep growing?

[Managing to squirm her way into view by gently pushing Diamond's head up some, Mabel looks thoughtful even as she keeps smiling brightly.]

Maybe! I'm not really sure. I think that's as big as it'll get! Diamond has gotten any bigger since I got her but I didn't hatch her so I'm not sure if yours will be different!

[Hope is doing the same, squirming into view from the side. He sighs a little at her answer. It wasn't bad! He just didn't know what to do with a 30ft tall rock snake.]

Well, I just hope it doesn't disturb anything with its size.

[Ah, wait, he presses a button to access the Dex and sees that the Onix is male.]

Please be a good boy, Nix.

[Onix knocked Hope over in an effort to snuggle again, the boy falling off screen with a cry. Of course he'll be a good boy!! Minccino popped into view, sighing like a beleaguered parent.]

Most places are use to it and totally welcome giant Pokemon!

[Trust her. She's got a lot of giant Pokemon.]

Nix--is that what you're going to call him? That's so--

[She was going to say adorable but then Hope is knocked out of view and Mabel bites her lip to keep from giggling. Oh no this is precious!

Diamond croons in a pleased manner as she rests her head on top of Mabel's--and ends up pushing the girl down a bit--rumbling at Minccino. Take good care of her baby, you!!]

[Pathetic wheeze off screen.]

Yeah, Nix will be his name. Nico, help please?

[So much wheezing and the Minccino runs over to urge Nix back up at least a little! Nix, you're gotta be gentle with the smol trainer! Hope breathes a sigh of relief when he's able to breathe easier again.]

Thanks, Nico. [He sits up even as the Onix is still smushing itself against Hope's face. Hope lets his cheek be squished, one eye shut. He smiles a bit, though] I think Nix takes after you Mabel. A loving pokemon from a girl who loves her pokemon dearly.

[Antics aside, Hope does see there is no harm in what's happening, large body aside, and it comes from a place of love. He's glad Nix likes him, just like Nico.]
