5th [video network post]
Man... I hadn't been thinking about it, but then I remembered something.
[Kazuki's sitting on his back porch. Honky Tonk, his Primarina, is sitting behind him, his head peering over his shoulder, and his Furret, Maestra, is enjoying a relaxing belly-rub, her short little legs flexing in the air. The sound of his Chimecho tinkling in the wind can be heard a short distance away.]
I've been here for a whole year now. Do you remember, Tonks? [The Primarina cries softly and nods, and Kazuki reaches up to pet his mane.] It was just you and me those first couple days. You were a little Popplio! I could hold you in my arms-- and now look at you! You're nearly as big as I am!
[Maestra pops up into the picture to add her two cents, and Kazuki laughed and patted her head as well.] Yep! You weren't short after! And then Xylo, and Sticky... and all the others! We're a big, happy family!
You've all helped me grow up. I had no idea I was capable of all the things I've done since I got here, but I've gone and done them! Everybody would be real proud back home...
[A melancholy look passes his face, but only for a second. Honky Tonk nuzzles his cheek with his nose.]
Then... Here's to new adventures, everyone! Another amazing year!

[Chise offers a warm smile with the statement as she sits on a log on Route 48, Phantom the Shuppet hovering at her shoulder and nibbling on a berry that Wendy the Litwick is sharing with him from her perch on their trainer's shoulder.]
Have you traveled through both regions yet or is that your plan for your second year here?

I've been to both regions, but I haven't fully explored either yet. I'm a bit of a city boy, so I haven't gotten to the wilder areas yet.

[It's said almost shyly but her smile still lingers, Chise still getting use to just how friendly everyone is here.
Especially Kazuki.]
There are a lot of very lovely places if you do decide to explore the wilder areas. The National Park was really nice and so was the path from Cinnabar to the Safari Zone. It's very peaceful.

I do wanna go to Cinnabar Island-- I've never seen an active volcano up close! I've never been to the National Park either. Maybe the next time I have a long weekend, I'll check it out!
