26th Recipie [Video, Goldenrod City]
[Today's video starts off with a shot of two printed out maps - one of Johto and one of Kanto, all made up of carefully overlapping pieces of computer paper. There are dots and string connecting a few different places on the maps - first a star on Goldenrod City, then a short piece of string to the dot on Route 35, then to the National Park, then Olivine City, then the string loops back to Goldenrod and stretches out aaaaaaaaall the way to Saffron City, Route 7, and then back up through to Celadon (no dot here) until there's a mark on Rock Tunnel and then ending in Cerulean City. It's quite a complex adventure, as if someone's given it a thorough amount of thinking.]
...So I have a quest in mind for myself this year.
[Of course that's Jane's voice. This whole thing looks like some kind of ridiculous conspiracy theory clue web with about 80% less of the usual crazy.]
I was combing through the Pokedex for fun and realized there's...well, not a lot, but a fair amount of rabbit-like Pokemon out there. And I don't have them all for some reason! So I figured it would make a fun project to go out and look for them, in addition to picking up some badges along the way.
[The camera finally turns to Jane. She looks like she's been up for way too long thinking about the logistics of this trip; there's bags under her eyes and an almost manic kind of glee to her expression.]
I've got a rough estimate on how long I'll be out on the road, it shouldn't be longer than a month [more like a month and a half] but I'm not going to head out until after Prom happens next month...which, it usually does. So I'll head out at the beginning of May...ooh, I'm so excited! I just had to let you all know! Maybe it's one of those funny gimmick sort of things you ought to wait on doing until after you've gotten all your badges, but...well, what's wrong with having a little fun, right?
[Someone put this child to bed.]

[Well then! Consider him impressed!]
Shit, if you could get one I should have no problem somehow getting enough money for one too!
[But it does seem Jane thought this through enough. That's kind of a relief]

[Paying for rent is easy? Healthcare for the pets is free? Traveling is immediate and you can send items around easily? Wow! Britt never had problems like those, being rich and what not, but he's not so ignorant he doesn't know other people have money problems]

[Her expression turns melancholic.]
You either stay for ages and ages, or you pop in for a couple of months and disappear again. It's capricious, to say the least.

...may as well get as much fun from this as I can.
[He's looking away when he says that, like thinking to himself, but that certainly was loud enough to be caught by the microphone of the Pokegear]
