[The gear comes up and is aimed at an imposing figure in black armor who says nothing, merely tilts its (her) head and crosses its (her) arms.]

I fucking told you I was gonna. See, this is what you get when you do the childish cold shoulder not talking thing. I get childish right back and show everyone what a baby you're being.

[The figure doesn't move. And Church's voice gets unsettled.]

Look, haha, I get that you're mad at me for whatever, but the least you could do is threaten to punch me for that. No? Nothing? Just follow me around like a--

[He turns the gear back on himself and turns around, continues walking wherever in Goldenrod he's going. Over his shoulder, the black-clad soldier dutifully follows.] Do you see what I have to deal with? She's even worse when she decides to start talking, but the whole silent treatment thing sucks. You guys agree she's being a bitch, right? Oh, sure, don't say hi to your ex, just loom creepily. Two can totally play at this game.

[action - Goldenrod]

[It's not been the most fun time at the Fratlancer house. Gross enough that the trio decided to get all publicly engaged/married to one another. Sure gonna have to spend more time at Tucker's until the schmoop dies down. The Japanese-in-all-but-name festivals didn't appeal to him, because he's not Japanese, and he doesn't want to put on a kimono or whatever, and he doesn't want to fuck with ghosts. Other than Slimer, who was honestly just as content to stay at home with his trainer.

And then Tex showed up.

He can't even say when she did. It seemed like he turned a corner and she was just there like she was waiting for him. He went back around the corner, waited a minute not in complete terror, and then came around again, with her still standing there. Okay. So. Okay. That's a thing that's happening now. He'd tried a few awkward hi's, got nothing in return, which, okay, that's fair, honestly. Any attempt to talk, not at all about the serious things regarding, uh, dying, and giving oneself up for the greater good, and finding out that neither of them were ever really real, just fucked up reflections of other people--just about hey, do you have a poke-partner, what's up with these fucked up critters, bet you like the battling, hey some of your not-friends are here--

Nothing. Just unnerving staring from behind her helmet. Not even bothering to take it off (and...and she has to have a body now, right? he has a body now, and he didn't get to have his armor), can't read her face without there being a face. He's not sure what he'd expect, anyway. He lets her have the silent treatment for a while, which would be better if she wasn't following him around. It's very frustrating.

So, at least for the first day, he's decided to resolutely ignore her. Throw the silent treatment right back at her. But god it's hard. There's so much that could be said, and he doesn't know where to start or what to say.

Selfishly, he hopes she doesn't go away.]
