[It's too bad for Jack that that's an incentive to get caught. A genuinely tempting one, but Luca could draw swears on her own shell whenever she wants, so it's not tempting enough.

The shouting is enough to get The Critics to stand up, at least, though they complain the entire time. What's going on, one head asks, while another snaps his beak irritably.

Luca pulls the stolen jewelry out from inside her shell- the gems glitter in the light. Stealin' this from that guy, she says, pointing to Jack. All three heads perk up at that, glancing from the jewels to the angry man, and they make their decision. It's not the first time they've played getaway driver for a theft, after all. (Though technically, they were also the one stealing in the first place.)

The Squirtle barely has time to stuff the jewelry back in her shell and grab on to Shalit's neck tightly before the Dodrio takes off, all three heads crowing loud enough to wake the dead.

... Or at least get the attention of Venkman elsewhere on the deck. He groans, sitting up from the deck chair. That... could definitely be another Dodrio, right? It doesn't have to be his.

... It's probably his. It'll take him a while to find them, though- he's on the opposite side of the ship.

Meanwhile, as fast as Dodrio are, The Critics are still having to weave through crowds of people on a finite space. While they're able to keep ahead of Jack, they're not able to lose him entirely.

Luca doesn't seem to mind. It means she can turn around and make faces at Jack, mocking him for not catching her yet.]
