Jack knows Armin too, but for some reason he doesn't come to mind. Perhaps it's just the lack of war discussion that he's had with the others; the first thing he thinks of with Armin is Pokemon.

He listens to her wonder out loud, and after a moment he goes, "I noticed that. Most of you military kids are at least passingly familiar with each other. I know a guy whose niece and nephew are here, as well as Krieg, who had his merc buddies show up."

He shrugs one shoulder, finally. "It's just me so far, but honestly I like it that way. Maybe one person being here creates some kind of point for the others to show up."
