I have an announcement to make!

I have obtained a new creature. Truly, one of brilliance, and prestige. And... shine.

Behold!

[He whips around, gesturing dramatically at the porch of his little beach cottage to reveal..]

A darling, shiny dinosaur! Astonishing, isn't it?

[Please note, this is a perfectly normal little Amaura. There is nothing shiny about it except for it's had its scales all nicely polished. And, you know, it has little diamonds on its sides. But apparently Shadowmaru feels otherwise.]

She looks very lovely. Or, he for that matter. It's hard to tell with these pokemon.

[Some have nice and easy to spot gender difference. And then others did... not.]

It came from the fossil I received after the whole... camping debacle.

It is.

I have one-- ah, two fossil pokemon myself. It's really incredible to think that they can bring these creatures that lived millions of years ago back to life.

[Nothing against Rowana, but he become her owner so recently, and through such a sad event, that it isn't as easy to recall her addition to his roster.]

I've heard there is a fossil bed on one of the Sevii Islands where, if you are willing to help out for a period of time, they will let you have a fossil afterwards. I've been considering that, but I haven't quite found the time yet.

Isn't it just? There were times when such creatures would appear in our world, but they were always the doing of man. And not creatures brought back from time.

I'd really like to. It just feels like other things keep popping up that require my immediate attention. There was the camp, of course. And before that, I was busy with my boat. Sometimes my Lapras pod requires a bit more attention than other times. And I've got my job too.

As I understand it, they are the sort to sparkle in the light!
