9th [video network post]
[For a post from Kazuki, the feed begins uncharacteristically silent. He isn't holding the camera-- it must be being held by one of his Pokemon, or propped up by something, because he's clearly in the shot, several yards from where his gear is.]
[Before him is a single Nihilego. It looks visibly nervous, but not aggressive. Yet. A good distance behind him are his Primarina, Altaria, and Ampharos, his three Pokemon that have hit level 100. They're watching the encounter between their trainer and the Ultra Beast with wary eyes, as if ready to spring into action at any sign of danger. Near his head is his Chimecho, gently ringing, slowly floating around the Nihilego in calm circles.]
[The Nihilego is distracted by the Chimecho. It turns around with a gentle, flowing motions, watching the Pokemon and making eerie, undulating cries in return. It reaches out a single tentacle as if it is thinking about touching the Pokemon, but doesn't. It's wariness slowly melts away into what looks like curiosity.]
[When he feels confident that the Nihilego isn't quite so wary of him, Kazuki slowly approaches. It quickly turns to watch him instead of the Chimecho, but doesn't react as though it means to attack. From a bag he was wearing at his side, he pulls out what looks like some kind of muffin. The Ultra Beast tilts its "head" and takes the treat from Kazuki's open palm. It pulls the food to its bell, and it just kind of disappears.]
[Kazuki continues to hold his open palm to the Nihilego. Like a shy young girl, it slowly reaches one of its tentacles out, while holding the other close to its bell, and touches his hand with it. Kazuki stays perfectly still, except for a slight incline of his head, like a bow. After a moment, the Nihilego bows back.]
[They both retreat a step back. The Ultra Beast cries softly, with a tone that sounds like... Gratitude? Then it simply turns and floats away. No altercation occurs. Kazuki turns towards the camera and walks up to turn it off.]
[This text appears a few minutes later:]
The others are right. You don't have to fight them. If you can read them right, they'll calm down, and they'll leave peacefully.

How long have you been here?
no subject
A little more than two years now! I miss home, but it's just as nice here as it is there, so it's not that bad.

...Has nobody found a way to return home yet?
no subject
No, not yet. I've met people that've been here 6, 7 years...

Do you have anyone you know from your home here along with you?

If you ever have the time, I'd love to meet up one day!

Sure! I live in Lavender Town in Kanto, but I have a few Pokemon that can fly me where-ever. Just let me know when you have some free time!

Will do. See you soon!
