Video - January 1st

[This is the first Hank's gotten around to saying anything in public. He found out a little over a week ago, discovered Connor's name missing from contacts, his name being erased from his work schedules at the Pokecenter, the day before fucking Christmas fucking Eve. He did what he could to salvage the holiday and not spend it depressed, which he thinks is what he would have wanted. But now he's actually gotta fucking bring it up. Connor was very focussed on his training more than socializing, but he needs to be sure.]

[He's holding the electric corgi that the Legendaries gave him. Honestly, not the thing he would have wanted. Having a chance to work things out for the best would have been preferable. But he'll take it as something else to focus on.]

Hi uh... [Already awkward. He clears his throat.] ...So if you knew Connor, he's not around anymore. His turn to poof the hell out. Gotta love how that works, right? If he has any unfinished business with you I'll do my best to take care of it.

[There, he's said it. Unless he's close to someone, that's all he has to give.]

Look, I'm gonna get out of the house for a while, hit the road and actually follow up on some of the more long-distance cases. If someone wants somewhere to stay in Goldenrod or get paid for house watching for a couple of months, let me know. Otherwise I'll just leave the Granbull and Crockett in charge.

While I'm gone, I'm gonna start levellin' this little girl up. [He holds up the Yamper under its dog arms, and it just pants derpily at the screen.] I'll see if I can breed her.

Whitney turned out to be a piece of cake after all the training I've been doing, and there's still bunch of this place I haven't seen yet.

Pretty awesome. I have a Donphan and an Arcanine now.

I'm thinking I should find out what's in this egg I got too. People are saying no one's seen the things hatching out of them before.

I also have a level one Meowth, dark type, from one of my earlier egg batches. If you want him when you have some space? I could shoot him your way.

Yeah, I mean. The little guy is just fuckin' bored with me. He doesn't really get out much at all. He's got a few extra moves that came from my Zoroark, so I can transfer him to you at the Pokecenter before I fuck off out of Goldenrod.

Get him to level twelve and he'll give you somethin' called Payday, too. It'll add a little to your pocket.

I might end up in Kanto myself at some point. Do you know if people can challenge gyms on hardmode first? A ton of my pokemon are already 100. I've just not faced any gyms until now.

There's so much to see! And Pokemon you can't find in Johto. Maybe a vacation to the other region is just what you need!
