<sub>[The feed clicks on and for once Henry isn't in some kind of blind, paranoid panic. In fact, he seems...happy. Chipper almost. The soft glow of the Goldenrod Pokemon Center can be seen behind him. Night time has fallen on the golden town and people are shuffling into the center to take shelter on their travels. It's free and hey, there's free coffee! So long as you don't mind sleeping on what amount to airport seats.]

[And there's something else about him--the man is wearing scrubs with Litwicks all over them. That's right! Mr. Starving Artist himself has finally gotten a real job. But that is not what this broadcast is about.]</sub>

Oh! Before I forget--I wanted to let everyone know that I'm still doing Pokemon portraits. With these new warp pads, you can come here to Goldenrod or I can come to you--to most cities in Johto anyway. It's 1000P for an eight by eleven glossy. 700P for three wallet size. If you don't want prints, I can send you a large digital copy for 500P. I have props, a background, lights, all of that.

Walter stared at the message that had come over his Gear. While there were often open messages, he half listened to them to see if there was anything useful he could learn. And he had learned today - Henry was here.

Was this why he had been brought here? To retrieve his wayward Sacrament? But then, how did Henry escape to this place? There were no gaps in his worlds, no way for Henry to leave his room and into the other reality. So how had he come here? Had he been here long?

He opened his pokeballs, releasing his pokemon and ushering them to look at the screen with him. He spoke softly to them, as if whispering a secret. ]

This is the Receiver of Wisdom, Henry Townshend. The Final Sign. He is special, and very important. We must watch over him. He cannot be harmed in this world; his fate lies in another.

[ The two Pokemon peer at the screen with sharp eyes. Assumption touched the screen, as if trying to touch Henry. Walter took stock of what he could read from the footage and his resources. The Pokemon Centre. Henry was working there? He knew where it was. If he followed Henry, he could find out where he was living now. Another apartment? He didn't have his powers. He couldn't freely walk in and out, haunt the apartment as he had his Mother.

But he had Pokemon. Would it be suspicious for a Cubone to wander around by itself? Probably, given how it cried when separated from him. But a bird...Walter turned to Darkness. ]

It will be your duty to watch him when I cannot visit him, myself. Do not attack him. You are only to watch, and only to interfere only if he is approaching death. He is currently at the Pokemon Centre.

Go. Stay with him this evening. Return to me in the morning. [ Darkness gave a nod and spread it's wings. Walter opened the window and watched the Murkow fly into the night. He turned back to the Gear, sitting with Assumption. The words were still running through his head. Henry was here. He touched Assumption's skull, stroking with two fingers. ]

He's here.

<sub>[AND LO IT COMES TO PASS that Henry is passing out a little tray with coffee when Darkness comes a calling. Or hopping. He glances over at the little black bird and assumes he just belongs to someone staying the night.]

[He knows several people with Murkrow. They're active, curious Pokemon. And destructive if not kept busy.]</sub>

Hey little guy...I know what you need.

_{[Henry makes his way over to the refreshments corner and quickly returns with an empty cup which he places upside down on the Pokemon Center floor.]}

Darkness watched Henry intently, as asked. The upside cup did intrigue him however. He hopped over, tilting his head, before pecking at it to flip it up and see what was under it.

<sub>[LO AND BEHOLD, beneath the cup was a single cheese puff.]

[Because what is healthy food. Henry smiles tiredly, waiting to see what Darkness will do.]</sub>

Darkness chirped and immediately wolfed down the puff, following it as it jumped from his beak with each peck. Satified, it watched Henry again, before fluttering up onto his shoulder. Walter had told him to watch over Henry and not to interfere. He wasn't interfering by perching on him, was he?

A warp pad is something you can find in your local Pokemon Center. It'll send you to the next town instantly if you've already been there. I'm not sure how it works but I think Abras are involved.
