You know what I've recently realized?

[Something related to his Ditto, no doubt, as he's currently filming it. It's snoozing under a sunbeam like some sort of pink, blobby cat.]

I've had Jello for almost seven years, now, and it's never tried to breed with my other Pokémon, or even expressed the desire to do so. Not. Once.

[His dramatic pause is somewhat ruined by the blob's sudden and surprisingly loud snore. He ignores that and carries on.]

Should I be very happy, very worried, or very thorough in looking beneath every piece of furniture I own for long lost eggs?

Could be! Or it could just be extremely picky about potential partners. Or maybe its long nap are a sham, and it secretly sneaks out to regularly meet its secret family. It'd be nice to know for sure.

Could you just ask them? Or do you think they might try to hide it.

Theoretically, I can ask. In practice, the only answer I ever got out of it is a jiggly shrug, even when I asked what it wanted for breakfast. So it's either very good at deflection, or it simply doesn't care about most matter.

That would make it harder.

I guess it's a mystery until it decides to give you more then a shrug. Or you do find a bunch of eggs hidden somewhere.

Or worse, the remnants of eggshells hidden somewhere, with no hints concerning the babies' species or current location. That couldn't possibly end well.

There'll be a secret society of baby pokemon living in your attic.

With my work hours, they could even get away with coming downstairs every day for supply runs and exercise. Maybe I should keep a closer eye on the desserts I buy, and the speed at which they're eaten.

A mysterious trail of crumb, ending right before a seemingly normal wall sconce... Too bad this building doesn't look old enough for secret passages and hidden cupboards.

A balance between 'none' and 'prom castle' would be nice. Wouldn't want architects to spend too much time on secret passages and not enough on solid, durable walls.

That place was filled with them and I'm pretty sure I didn't even see half of what was probably there.

And considering the way the whole thing supposedly ended, I'd bet there were even more in the end! I'm almost tempted to sneak in and see.

I wonder if they're rebuilding it.
