[A loud groan comes from a girl with pink pigtails laying on the floor of a Pokecenter. She looks up and... well, she looks pretty sick. There's tons of candy wrappers strewn about, which might be a clue as to why she sounds sick.]

Ughh...

I think there's something wrong with this body. I'm giving it food! All the food it wants! But now it just hurts...

Ugh... I'm so over this being human stuff. I'm out. Who do I talk to so I can have my gem body back?

[Somehow he isn't surprised she doesn't know what that means, but he doesn't comment on that. But his assumption was right, which means despite her apparent...lack of knowledge, she's fairly old. Interesting.]

Nay that is quite alright, 'tis clear you are not well, and little do I need such a grand greeting. But...

[there are so many things wrong with what she just asked him. For one, his Garlean eye is not a pearl—or...maybe it is? Now, anyway...it isn't normally. But also, did he not just voice his confusion over her being a gem? Wouldn't that imply...??]

While this may look like a pearl, 'tis not. I am Garlean, and we true sons and daughters of Garlemald are possessed of a third eye.

You and yours are that varied are they? How interesting. Is this form you bear now much like the one you had ere your arrival—rather, is the appearance somewhat equivalent?

[He's not sure if she might just be the stone itself, or if she had some measure of human-like body. He's actually pretty fascinated by this, and unfortunately his curiosity often times wins out over his empathy. Thus when she suffers that pain in her belly, he does not comment. Rather, he acts as if it did not happen at all.]

Nay, it 'tis but a country I ruled back on my star. The name of my world is Hydaelyn.

[There's a little bit of breathy irritation when he says the name, because while most would refer to the planet as such, he knows better. However, it does him little good to stray from what Estinien or others from his shared world might.]

Fascinating.

[He wonders if her kind are some sort of arcane construct. But he doesn't ask. Mainly because even if she is, she likely wouldn't know.]

I most assuredly would prefer to be there than here, but liking or missing it has scant to do with it.
