Video 002
[ Once again, a pale fellow with a black hood and a white, owlish mask shows himself on the network. His voice is even and calm, as always.]
I find myself constantly at odds with the more mundane features of our predicaments. Or, perhaps... I should be more specific. Has anyone else had difficulty adjusting to a mortal body? Have you had any sort of malfunctions in motor movement? Increased falls, perhaps?

His name is Emet-Selch. Do you know him?

[action, can't eavesdrop on this Solus!]
Maybe 20 minutes after Hythlodaeus finishes his post, during a time where he's not responding to anyone, and Estinien has finished setting up their nightly camp with Ziva, he approaches the man and sits next to him with his arms crossed and leaning against a tree.]
Twas no accident, nor a malfunction.

[YEAH TAKE THAT "SOLUS"]
Oh? I had figured as much, but... Do tell.

I know not precisely what sparked it, but twas an argument with another person here.
Put simply, he was pushed down a flight of stairs, then kicked. The damage was severe enough that he was rendered incapable of walking and contacted me to come fetch him.
[Because, well, Solus hasn't exactly been making a lot of friends here.]

And the perpetrator— He said that he ensured it wouldn’t happen again. He... he didn’t... you know... kill the fellow?

Tis not possible, from what I understand. Should any of us be injured to the point of death, we merely lose consciousness and awaken at the nearest Pokemon Center.
But no, as far as I am aware, he has not retaliated. Nor has the situation escalated further.

Of course she still looks smug, her default state of being when she answers. Just casually petting a perrserker in her lap.]
Having to remember to breathe, eat, and drink was certainly a weird adjustment. But otherwise no, my motor functions and balance have been quite perfect. It was rather nice to be able to function like that once again, actually.
Is there any particular reason you ask?~ [Someone would absolutely spill the tea and write the narrative here.]
He would be quite upset were I to directly gossip about him. I eat and breathe and drink just as I did before... The only difference being that I cannot sate my own needs through my own use of magic.
[He tilts his head, giving a soft smile. Perceptive bastard that he is, he catches the implication that...]
But, you perhaps know something?
Oh, I'm sure if it were for a question of his well-being he couldn't be too mad, could he? Sating your needs through magic certainly sounds quite useful in addition to those other things. Quite a number of options, actually, it must have been nice.
[Certainly she's trying her best to hide her amusement, though she can't help her own grin that shows a bit of teeth. Ignore those canines being a little sharper than they ought to, it's fine.]
It would depend. Is your friend, perhaps, someone that speaks in an antiquated manner and his appearance is thus more comfortable in loose outfits and hair dark with a white bit near the front? If so, I may.
[He covers his laugh as she describes him. ]
My, my. It seems that he is quite the unique fellow here. He was much more reserved in his dress once upon a time!
[he totally notes the sharp teeth, but everyone is weird here. It doesn’t ping him as especially weird. ]
[Hey, if anything, she's honest with her descriptions!]
Pft. It wasn't his dress that really set him apart here. [She's just waving it off for a moment before that hand returns to petting Cobbles in her lap.]
If anything, what he's gained a reputation for is for pushing people quite too far. For not knowing when to stop before he makes someone snap and retaliate. That's what caused those injuries, you know, he went too far with someone and got his comeuppance via being pushed~ down~ the~ stairs~
Quite deserved, from what I was told. And he's made no friend of me or mine, either.

He answers in sincerity, signing at the screen with subs provided.]
Typically impairment to motor function is indicative of a greater cause, not an issue all on its own. Are you experiencing anything else unusual?
Video
I'm asking for a dear friend, one too stubborn, perhaps, to ask this himself. He claims that it has passed. Unfortunately, I have been unable to see him aside from our discussions over this little communicator.
[A pause]
Forgive me, my curiosity will soon overflow. Your hand motions are clearly language... Is that the language of your people? It seems incredibly useful.
Video
...well, one name springs to mind, but he supposes he'll reserve judgement for now.]
Ah. It's a very minor language used mostly by a specific subset of people in my world, the deaf community from one particular country. I can't hear at all, so I've had to resort to other means. [He gestures to the Natu on his shoulder, staring intently at the screen.] I've trained Isis here to be something of an interpreter, since sign language is uncommon here.
This friend of yours, though. It wouldn't happen to be Solus, would it? I know he claims to have suffered one recently.
Video
[A burning question raises to the surface. But no. It’s so rude. Entirely too rude... So instead, he answers Tyler’s question.]
Solus...? No, I’m sorry. I don’t know anyone by that name. [Yes. Yes he does. ]
Video
[Tyler looks vaguely skeptical, but whatever.]
A tall man, brown hair with a grey streak and an innately smug expression. I suppose be wary of him if you do meet him, he's earning a reputation for getting under people's skin.
