[The camera is unsteady in the video post and a moment into the footage, it's easy enough to figure out why: Greg's filming this while riding. His face is close to the camera and his voice is low and worried-sounding.]

I'm heading into Cherrygrove. The Jennies have Rose.

What? What happened? Do you need any help?

We've been camping out on the beach about an hour or so from Cherrygrove for a while and usually I've been making the supply runs, but Rose went this time instead. And she was late and not replying to my [sexts] texts?

And then I got a call from a strange number and it was Rose because the Jennies let her have one phone call.

Did they tell you on what grounds? Maybe it is a case of mistaken identity?

[Though... who exactly they'd be mistaking Rose for Armin doesn't know.]

No! Of course she didn't! [It's Rose, Armin.] Just that she was arrested and will be spending the night in jail! Isn't that fun?

[Except it's Rose, so how does he know it really is fun or if she's just being Rose?]

[Oh god, of course, she didn't.]

Okay. Okay, we shouldn't panic. Whatever happened, the Jennies are normally fair people. I'm sure Rose will be fine for now. And they'll be able to tell you more when you get there.

Do you need any help, you think? It'll take me a while to get there, but if you need some help, I can come.

[Greg takes a few deep breaths. And then a few more. And maybe a few more after that.]

... I dunno, Armin. I might need bail money. Rose is the one with all the money saved up. Not me.

But maybe she won't need bail. Maybe it's just all a big misunderstanding.

... I mean, that's something Rose would do, but. She said she was arrested. If she hadn't been arrested, she wouldn't say she was?

Are you sure she didn't just call it an arrest because that is more exciting?

In any case, speculating like this is meaningless. You should hurry to Cherrygrove and ask the Jennies exactly what happened. You can call me back when you know more.

[He's riding as fast as he can... while still talking on the gear. Okay. Okay, he sees Armin's point.]

[And he's going to leave Greg be --unless Greg contacts him again-- figuring that Greg could probably get there faster if he can concentrate on riding.]

Why do they have Rose?

Because she got arrested!

[No, Greg. If a Ditto was impersonating Rose, you'd be able to tell by the eyes... unless it was wearing sunglasses.]

Maybe? But they'd have to have not seen them from the front because the eyes give it away.

If it was a Zorua though they might not be able to tell.

Unless it was wearing sunglasses. Rose has sunglasses. They're shaped like stars.

And they just saw Rose and copied her so they could steal something and escape and she'd be blamed.

This is a really smart ditto.

[And then another thought occurs to him.]

[That's what team rocket does right? She's been here for a while and still hasn't (knowingly) run into them.]

[Greg bites off what was almost a curse that Newt was definitely too young to hear.]

She wouldn't. She doesn't even catch them the normal way. She makes friends and then they decide to go in the balls on their own.

... but the Jennies might not know that.

[He would be surprised at the amount of swear words Newt knows. She just also knows not to use them around adults.]

Maybe you can tell them that. Plus you should ask if they saw her the ENTIRE time or if there was a chance where they didn't see the person so maybe it was really a team rocket ditto.

[John appears to have propped up his gear somewhere so he can placatingly wave his hands into the camera.]

Don't worry! They are not like real cops! My friend was a real jackass to them and basically just had to sit in a room for a little bit. I bet they will work out really fast that Rose is just kind of weird and not a criminal at all!

I hope so...

[John's probably right. Greg knows this. But he really can't help but worry, especially when Rose technically is a war criminal.]
