Steven's one of my best friends, but he's a serial monologer with no filter and no sense of other people's boundaries. I've gone off at him on three separate occasions in regards to such. Which is probably the only reason he's learned to limit what he says about me in public spaces.

[He has no idea what Steven does behind closed doors and frankly he's happier that way, because he's convinced that knowing will just make him more pissed.]

God. The first time I met Dirk, Isis tried to throw hands and we have a weird and overtly sexual sass-off. I've got six so far, all Johto. It's only a few hours flight to Mahogony from Ecruteak, but I'm worried if I try it now I'll somehow end up in fucking Vermillion City. I'll probably head out after the weekend's over, and see where my team's at before I go charging in. I'm not particularly equipped for Ice types.

Well, worst case there's a train between Saffron and Goldenrod after all- and the cities in Kanto tend to cluster pretty close to that spot! I'd say if you're close enough, it's worth a shot!

Four Fighting types, two of which are the right level, but I've been trying not to use one since's that Machamp is the one I fucking stole. One Fire type, my Houndoom. Two Rocks, one of which is underlevelled, the other is Solrock, and one Steel, my Forretress. Otherwise it's a bit of a mix, with four each Psychic and Water.

Ever consider bodypaint? Just make him look ~shiny~ [she grins, only to pause.] ...Or wait, if they're not listening then that's the bigger issue huh. Hmmm.

You'd be surprised how far you can get just a few levels under...but honestly, you might want to just see what fire moves your Psychics can learn. Stats and status is another big thing- if the other guy can't move, then having a type advantage doesn't even matter!

The one time I used him in a fight so far, I didn't have the badges so. [oh look he looks a little bit ashamed of himself.] Uh. I used Isis to control him during the fight.

[anyway] I've been using stat moves on my Pokemon, raising their own, but I've never really implemented anything to directly affect their opponents besides just brute force. I can probably use EVA, since Rotom has Heat Form and an absurdly powerful Fire move. Plus all of its usual Electric bullshit would work great, since I'm pretty sure most Ice Pokemon are part Water anyway.

Heat form is definitely a good idea though...and you'd be only partly right on this actually! He's got a mamoswine- ground and ice. That one...you'll probably want to consider just putting to sleep and pounding on if I'm honest. The other two though, you can definitely use electric on.

Really though, look into some TMs! You'd be surprised what learns Thunder, right off the top of my head...

I have to some degree - I found out that Hypno can learn Teleport, that was a fun discovery. I'll see what my Mudsdale can learn, I think she should be able to learn some Rock-type moves, most Ground types seem to be able to. I know they're not much good against Ground but she ought to get some decent hits in with her own Ground and Fighting attacks in tow.

I'm pretty sure Mudsdale should have Double Kick on the roster at least...

Really, with the later gyms you just need to get yourself a plan together. Once that's done, you could probably go in with opposing types and come out on top somehow!

Double Kick, Rock Smash, Counter and Superpower, but the last weakens her a bit afterwards. Not pain, she just hits a bit softer.

Though if she used Heavy Slam, that might be pretty efficient. The damage appears to be based on weight difference, and she weighs close to a metric ton. It's fucking wild. [and Fiona's a chunky lass]

I mean, I can pick up a Swinub, it weighs less than a dumbbell. I sure as hell couldn't pick up a Mudbray.

There are no other regular Pokemon that weigh more than Mudsdale, apparently, the next heaviest is something called Copperajah, then Metagross, and the difference is three and four hundred fucking kilos, respectively. The difference between them is about your weight.

Yeah, Swinub are like six kilograms. They're babies. Hell, I could bench a Piloswine, they're only around fifty. Mubray is over a hundred.

Maybe Copperajah and Metagross are hollow inside, and Mudsdale is just hard-packed clay.

I am so curious what a Hei-chan is now. But yeah, according to its Pokedex Mudsdale can drag upwards of ten tons without any real effort. Which I think is actually fairly in line with a real horse.

And hah! That's beyond a real horse! I mean, I guess the biggest ones could get close...but Mudsdale can do it for days!

I've been flying everywhere now, but I'm fairly certain that if I'd chosen to ride Fiona between cities then she would've been able to get some pretty good distance in a day. She's absurd - when I had her training with my Machamp and Bewear she can drag them both along.
