I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT SUCKED INTO A VIDEO GAME WORLD!!

Oh my gosh oh my gosh this is like number 2 on my bucket list. Number 1 would be make a bucket list.

Do I go fight a gym? Defeat Team Rocket? I don't recognize this particular game, but I'm guessing it's generally the same goals?

Can't wait to show off my Cubone to Eda and King. Hey Eda and King, if you get this message let me know so I can come find you guys!

Yeah! A simulation!

And yeah, they're meant to be fun! It's all about picking your first Pokemon, going on an adventure to catch them all, training your Pokemon team to be the strongest... there's lots you can do!

We don't get to choose our first partner.

But catching more of them is definitely encouraged.

I was kinda wondering why I had a Cubone instead of a Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander.

Is it random for everyone? Which one did you get?

I don't know if it's random. [Thace and Claudia's starters certainly seem to fit them remarkably well.] But we aren't the ones who get to choose.

I got a Ponyta. From the Galar region.

Sorta. Before I got whisked away to this place, I was whisked away to another totally different world that's full of demons and witches called the Boiling Isles. And that's where King is from. He's the King of Demons! And he's adorable and squishy!

Also I don't think they've ever played a Pokemon game in the Boiling Isles. But who knows. That place is full of neverending surprises.

Uuhhh kind of. Like an extremely messed up version of Pokemon...

People in the demon realm come in all shapes and sizes, and some of 'em come with fur, horns, multiple eyes... the list goes on.

Sounds a little like Etheria. Except most of Etheria wouldn't deserve a name like "Boiling Isles".

The Boiling Isles aren't so bad once you get past all the weirdness.
