[ video / action for the horizon gym if you feel like it ]
[The video feed starts up a little wobbly, and the reason why becomes immediately apparent. Ford is sitting on the wide stone steps that lead up to the Horizon Gym and clustered around him is a veritable horde of Cleffa. There's -- count them -- seven of the little terrors. They're scampering about, making lots of noise, bonking into each other, the works. Two of them are trying very hard to push a single (loudly crying) Togepi up the stairs. It's pandemonium.]
Greetings, all. Dr. Pines here. It's been a long time since I made a post like this; running a gym has left me with a lot less time to devote to egg production. However now that I have grounds that my Pokémon can run around on free range, it looks like they decided to take matters into their own hands. I generally wouldn't wait until the eggs have hatched to find homes for the babies, but my Clefable, Phoebe, is... ah...
[His face goes dark for a second. How to put this delicately...]
... A demonic she-beast from hell.
[Nailed it.]
Her children tend to take after her and inherit her very demanding personality, so I want to be sure you know what you're dealing with before you adopt. Contact me if you're interested in a challenge.
[OOC: One of these Cleffa is promised to Dirk, but the rest of them (and the single Togepi!) are up for grabs. I'm not going to do an ooc egg post since there's just one clutch, so if you'd like to know the movesets, they are as follows:
The Cleffa will know: Copycat, Pound, Splash, Sweet Kiss, Encore, Charm, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Rest, Toxic, Return, Round, Magical Leaf, Thunder Wave, Safeguard, Wish [4/7 available]
The Togepi will know: Growl, Pound, Sweet Kiss, Charm, Metronome, Wish, Encore, Stored Power, Body Slam, Thunder Wave, Sunny Day, Heal Bell, Toxic [0/1 available]
I've grandfathered some moves in from Generation 7 and before because I refuse to live in a world where Ford's reusable Toxic TM is useless.]

Hi, Dr Pines! I'd like to get the little yellow guy with white stuff around him. My pokedex says he's a Togepi! Do you want money or can I trade you anything? I've got some babies left over from the last time I did eggs. Let me put up my list?
[Which it turns out is a nicely illustrated (if badly spelled) list of her last set of eggs drawn in her breeder's notebook.]
See? I've got two of 'em left with special hidden abilities! An Azurill and a Swirlix!

I have to admit those are tempting. My hands are a little full at the moment but what do you say to an IOU for the Togepi? The next time you have Feebas to spare, save one for me.
I have to ask: did you do those illustrations?

I saw some of the art at your museum when me and Catra went to watch Thace fight you. Did you do those?
And I'd be happy to give you a Feebas when I get them again. Janine's gonna be with Mallory next time, because last time she was with Sasha's Swirlix, so it might even have a special hidden ability like Janine does.
long overdue...

My goodness! Those cleffa are very cute! I would be very happy to trade you for one if you'd like.

[He says it with obvious fondness. One of the Cleffa takes the opportunity to bite down on the button on his coat sleeve, clearly intent on pulling it off.]
What do you have on offer?

I believe I have a number, but I suppose it matters what you are looking for. Is there any type you particularly like?
video;
[You're surrounded by little pink potential horrors, grandpa.]

... Which isn't to say I'm not eager to find all of these babies homes.

Previous ones?

[There's a very good chance that he's overestimating his own abilities here... or that he's underestimating how much trouble this is going to be.
Either way, he's excited about it!]

[It doesn't have to be a Pokémon. Send him a picture of cool rock or something, it's whatever.]

[A beat, and then-]
I don't have anything particularly interesting to trade, or any pokemon I'm willing to part with at the moment but uh... I could hook you up with some pokemon treats?
[Because this is Hunk, and of course he's been experimenting with making his own food. If nothing else, it's an effective distraction.]
voice;
[Well hello to you too, Runaan.]
[video]
Hey, uh. Holy shit? You sure those things are done, they don't have any legs.

[Or Pokémon, as it happens. He... may be biased, having started with a Morpeko and all.]
They're all really cute!
